Lol. I am sure that Bullfrog can do that and make a presence in the AppStore, since Bullfrog is now EA. ;)

Populous was ported to the Nintendo DS by EA Japan and published in the states by Xseed Games last november. You might try contacting them.

I'd love to do a version of Populous. Not a port, something more pitched it iPhone level hardware, it is after all about 50x faster than the STs and Amigas we originally wrote Populous on.

I'm seriously considering trying to make this happen when I get the time.

It would be cool if bungie had some of their back catalogue ported.

    Like the Marathon trilogy.

Or even cooler could be Myth. I wonder if that would even run on the phone though?

A little more realistic would be the Fire Emblem series. I played them all the time back during the gameboy era. It would easily be possible, especially graphics wise.

My signature. Its been ported to Linux, Mac, GP2X, Xbox, Wii, PSP, and DS. Though the copyrighted material would likely be have to changed though (which is all the art and music asset >.>)

EDIT: From the site in case no one wants to read.

Screw Theme Park and Populous, if we're going with Bullfrogs legendary catalog, give me SYNDICATE WARS!

Now THAT.. is a bit too much to ask for... You could get a psp instead. There ware several games like interactive buddy though.. SOCOM would be pretty sweet.. I know some great controls for it

Good call, Syndicate Wars would be sweet.

Warpack Grunts reminds me of Syndicate on the surface, so I'm looking forward to that.

I'd say closer to Quake (besides the obvious its running on Quake 3's engine). It looks faster paced than Halo, and its missing a lot of elements from Halo.
