Ice Age came out and looks great but then again I have yet to play it. I just finished Darkest Fear and LOVED it minus how slow the guy walks. It's a good think you get use to him walking like he is on drugs. Jules Verne (the sequel to RTMI) recently came out also. That will be my next purchase. The original RTMI was amazing!
I'm debating whether or not to get return to mysterious island ( the first one ). I have never played a game like that before and it looks pretty good but also it looks like it can boring. You would reccomend it?
YES highly recommend it. I LOVED it. I had to cheat in some parts bc combining items gets tricky but it was still amazing.
Yes, I have Ice Age on my list. I am trying to decided between that, the Jules Verne sequel and Toki Tori. However, I am really liking these role playing strategy games so I may have to go with Jules Verne. Unfortunately it is $7 and not everyone is as satisfied with it like the original so I think I just made up my mind. lol Ice Age it is.
I just got Ice Age and it is AMAZING. I have Toki Tori, too but Ice Age is much better. I left my impressions in the main Ice Age thread. If your thinking about getting Ice Age, check out my impressions in the Ice age thread! It will give you a better idea about the game.
No need to TOFTT, I'll vouch for it being a good game. Not sure if I would have paid $3 for it, but it's enjoyable. First you sling yourself up from the bottom "Kirby bonus stage" style and then you tilt to move left/right as you parachute down. There are the typical things to avoid/grab on your way down, as well as collectibles which if you make it all the way down with them (they are dropped if you hit something) you can put them on display with Hello Kitty. Cute, and a playable game. If your kids like HK, this is a no-brainer.
It was only a matter of time before Apps for Boys was launched (ladies first, clearly). Check out the apps the Apple geeks thought would be enjoyed by boys... It's great. I love almost all of them (I have Shrek, Nitro, Rally Racing) but I really do think Apple dropped the ball with the "girl apps". They are inherently boring choices -- they could've chosen better ones easily.
Hi all, I'd just like to chime in here with a story about our new game, Arcade Solitaire:TriTowers! Basically, my fiance has been begging me to make her a TriTowers solitaire game for ages and finally, I buckled! But I told her that it would have to be awesome and there be one condition - that she oversee the entire game to make sure that it was something she LOVED to play! She also had a lot to do with the graphical look and feel of the game but we (my brother and I) also wanted to make sure that it was a game that we wanted to play as well so we put in some extra elements. Anyway, while most of our guy friends like the game, it's mostly the girlfriends that are completely addicted to it and can't put it down! Hope this was relevant to you all and keep on gaming! LOL...thanks for the support! The game hasn't exactly set sales records, but there are over 5,000 players now with lite and paid versions combined. Hope you like it and watch for the update to hopefully be released in the next day or so (depending on Apple of course)!

Hey, a catagory for me! I don't care for shooters or anything racing, I LOVE RPGs, cards, detective/mystery games, hidden object, and myst type games like mysterious island and point and click adventures like beneth a steel sky and simon the scorcerer 1 and 2, word games ( I still play word ace everyday for at least a few mins) , some match 3 like puzzle quest Basically the biggest thing in all of my games is storyline, I HAVE to have an interesting storyline to keep me going or I get bored quick. I also prefer games with the touch controls over the keypad types. With smaller hands and shorter fingers than a male, I found it covers the screen too much. Graphics and visuals are also big factors for my buys.
as long as it has zombies, guns, death, destruction, getting from a - c via b, bad language, etc then count me in...nothing like killing something on a screen in the name of fun... [yes i am a girl - new to ipod - love my 360 and ps2 ]
The first half is excellent, the puzzles really reflect real-world facts and the graphics are gorgeous (except the cutscenes, which are a bit cheezy). Also the ability to solve puzzles in multiple different ways with different item combos makes it refreshing. BUT: After the halfway point, the game goes a bit nuts, as though the developers ran out of ideas and rushed the rest to the end. Or like some bits are missing. Still, it's worth the 99c(?) you'd pay for it.
