If you had to google them it is because you do not know them. I knew some great games in my times (75-95)
I have a list of (unlikely) SNES/DOS games that I'd love to see ported, but one series that came to mind is the Legend of Kyrandia series. I wouldn't mind replaying that on my iPhone.
You can't buy old super nintendos anymore, or old gameboys, so the gamesvare basically sitting there going to waste, even ppl with those old consoles would never pull it out and play it. Yes you can buy some of the older games on wii or nds but no one goes out and buys a NDS or wii for the sole purpose of buying 10-20 year old retro games. People who buy a NDS most likely want games with really good graphics and 3d visuals. So I very highly doubt they'd lose any money, the only ppl who would buy those old games on NDS are ppl who already own one, so there should be no console sales lost, maybe there would be if they ported recent games to iOS but I wasn't asking for that, just the old retro games that are going to waste pretty much, it wouldn't make a difference anyway since everyone has a NES / SNES emulator on their computers, so they'd actually make money if they put it on iOS cause the thought of portable Mario on he go, on your phone wouod appeal to many people, especially people like me who love old skool Mario but am not nerdy enough to actually buy a handhold nintendo console I have a wii but old skool games don't appeal to me on wii because I hardly turn it on, haven't played it in years, on a portable mobile would though since there's always times you need to wait for a bus or in a line or on long train rides etc
lol, really. First, some of those "old" games are classics and better than the new stuff coming out. Second, those games you listed would never run on iOS devices as they are now. However, many of those games have similar iOS versions - just check out Gameloft's games as someone else already pointed out.
I'd like to see MvC3 on here, sort of like how Capcom ported Street Fighter IV (although yes, it was not a complete port.) Of course, I don't know if that would work, but one can hope, right? But on the track of hoping, an Okami side-story on the iDevices would be cool, maybe telling Shiranui's story (like how he got trapped in a huge ice block in Okamiden).
Skyrim geeks(sorry if that's offensive) are getting nasty. They'd pull off their hair from personal spots if Skyrim would be released in iPhone.
Haha I am a skyrim geek, however I'm running out of quests Anyone remember stunt island back in 1993 or wing commander, would love to see those on the iPad, and I-war (not to be confused with the iOS game called I-war)
Skyrim Battlefield 3 Modern Warfare 3 Borderlands and Borderlands 2 BioShock BioShock 2 BioShock Infinite Assassin's Creed Revelations, Brotherhood, 2 and 1. Crysis 1 & 2 Pokémon (All of them) Super Mario Brothers (All of them) Super Mario 64 Sly Cooper Series Crash Bandicoot Series GTA Series 3, Vice City, San Andreas, 4 Mass Effect 1,2,3 Dragon Age Series Burn Zombie Burn
Dang, I forgot about Sly Cooper! Yeah, it would be awesome to have a mini Sly Cooper adventure on the iOS.
