I don't know how many hours i've put into these games but atleast +20 Game dev story Tilt to live The creeps
Singleplayer: Infinity Blade (Finally some level grinding I enjoy) Real Racing 1 (dont have 2 yet) SFIV (never leaving my device) Multiplayer: Nova 2 (along with campaign) Archetype
From what I have currently on my device, that I think the following are ones that I've played for more than 20 hours: Defender Chronicles Inotia 2 Dungeon Defenders Bug Heroes Battleheart GOF:2 Hot Springs Story Civilization Revolution Fargoal Solomon's Boneyard Geo Defense I feel like I always complain about the lack of long-term gameplay in iOS titles, but there have been several that seemed to have caught my attention for a decent amount of time. However, as pointed out previously, it's not really a large percentage of the games I actually own. Twenty hours of gameplay is just so insignificant compared to the amount I've put in on most of the "real" games I've played on my computer, though. World of Warcraft alone, I probably put in close to 300 days, and I dread to think how much I put in on Starcraft back in the day.
okay these games easly passed 40 hours ! 1-Battle For Wesnoth 2-ChronoSgear (played it over and over the challenge mood after campaign) 3-Dungeon RAid 4-Final Fantasy 5-Final Fantasy 2 6-Puzzle quest 2 7-Chronicles of Inotia 2 8-Battleheart (expected to pass 20 h) 9-Tactical Warrior (expected to pass 20 h ) 10-Sword & Poker FF1,FF2,Inotia 2 Need more than 50 h to finish them But the rest are due to their big story mood and additional free or endless mode and are best games in appstore in whethein playability or replayabilty !!!
I spent a good bit of time on Sword & Poker, but it probably didn't top 20 hours. Zero replay on that one (at least for me) but had me obsessed while it lasted.
Oh yeah, BattleBears Zombies was the first full length game I got (for free), and I replayed the campaign like 15 times.
My list: The Quest Gold + mission packs Aralon Galaxy on Fire 2 Crimson Gem Saga Game Dev Story (time consuming monster!) Highborn (one of the very first games I played for long hours) Itarus (VERY underrated game that really deserves more attention) Zenonia 1 Real Racing 2 Space Miner Secret of Mana (probably) Sparkle Sentinel 3 Defender Chronicles Plants vs Zombies Just started playing Mission Europa Collectors Edition (around 3 hours of gameplay) so basically the very beginning of the game, and from what I can say after that couple of hours this game will take a looong time to finish, so it can also be on this list. All the other a-couple-of-hundreds of games I have I usually play in short sessions or rarely. I would really like to see more long session games (mostly RPGs) on the Appstore.
Ha thats a post we should have. Whos spent [insert ridiculously large amount of hours] on the TA forums Cant believe I haven't seen it mentioned Ive got like 22 hrs into Lego HP. I wish there was an app like xfire or steam that tracked play time. I think that would be awesome if game center could implement such a feature.
For the same reason casinos don't have easily visible clocks or windows For me though, besides the ones listed over and over here already, I can only think of Space Miner. Not a fan if dual stick shooters, but this one is just that good. Order and Chaos will end up on the list as well. Wish they had a timer on it, but I've been playing mostly only that since it came out, and I still feel like I'm just getting started.
The Quest (plus expansions) Mission Europa Carcassonne (play games almost daily with my wife, have two online games going on right now...) Flight Control & Realmaze 3D (some of the first games I got for my iPod way back when...) iDrop Dead: Flower Edition (love this game!) Sword of Fargoal, Rogue, Nethack, Doom, Wolf 3D, X-Plane & Peggle (if you count other platforms ) Dora's Christmas Adventure (I have a two-year-old daughter)
Wow, you guys are mental! I totally respect that. I don't think many of my iOS games have 20+ hours on them because I am always getting distracted by all the new, shiny games that come out. On PC this list would reach in the dozens. Games I've spent (close to) 20+ hours on: Game Dev Story played through Hot Springs Story but don't think I reached 20 Battleheart (okay, more like only 8 hours) Dungeon Raid spent quite a lot of time on The Quest but became stuck on a quest and got bored Played through Phoenix Wright, Peggle, and Plants vs. Zombies multiple times on PC and have them for iPod as well. Order and Chaos is defo gonna be 20+ if my WoW character is anything to go by.
While the title of the thread (technically) doesn't specify iOS gaming, I'm still inclined to say that this post is missing the point of this thread. I mean, if we're talking about any games, people's lists would be huge, and it could include games outside the console/computer field (ie. chess, cards, sports).
I have a LOT of games. Most of them a bought on impulse and are played for a week if they're lucky. However the games I've played through multiple times, or the games that i've been playing for a year or more are the ones that stick out for me. Tilt to Live probably holds the record for most game time. It's fair to say I've played the crap out of this game, and I've got ages to go when I buy the expansion! GeoDefense is another game that got played a lot. I've gone through multiple devices, so it's fair to say I've played it through multiple times. I never got to the last levels, but I've still put a lot of time into this game. Osmosis is another game I've played to death. I finished the odyssey on my first device and and almost cried with joy when I saw I had another 50 levels to go. Still working my way through on my new one.
