Is Match Play real multiplayer or still "ghost" multiplayer? The game honestly sounds the same as the last one. It feels like they're adding expansions and not a new game. That's my honest opinion. It will only be different for me if it has real multiplayer.
Grrrr. Hurry up Apple and approve this! I want to plaaaaay. It is seriously the best full baseball simulator in the app store and the RPG elements just make it that much more awesome. I have been playing on my iPhone since Baseball Superstars 2009. Obviously a huge fan.
They said that it has been submitted( of course ), and that it will come out the 1st or 2nd week of November.

I'm willing to bet since it was submitted so long ago that Apple has already approved this -- but it has a specific date for release setup as well. If I would wager another guess, it's so GAMEVIL could organize and prep all the promotional/website stuff.
so i have never played a gamevil game before but this has me pretty interested. it just seems like the actual gameplays kinda weird...with like hitting the ball so fast and everything. how good is the gameplay? based on skill or luck?
If you're batting, it requires timing to get a good shot, but you can have ok timing, but have hit it enough to get to first base. It's hard to get Homeruns too of course. If you're a pitcher, you just have to choose from several types of throws, then aim inside a square, and try to get the opponent to strike out. Once you start playing it, it gets really fun, and the gameplay becomes 2nd nature after a while.
