I think Fairy saved Grey's life at some point in his life, perhaps early childhood, and now that he has the chance to save her life he will take it. He has the conviction to save both the world and the person that saved his own life, like killing two birds with one stone.
I think that Fairy and Grey were married at one point, then divorced and started a rock band. Totally doesn't sound like anything in real life, huh? Jack, erm...*coughs* Grey is the guitarist.
Upon completing their quest, Fairy and Grey got married, and their marriage was fine at first. However, Grey's new lust for celebrity status made Fairy angry and caused her to leave him. Really quite sad, if I do say so myself.

What happened to Fairy and Grey? Here is a tale long forgotten: Genesis suddenly appeared. "Fairy!" shouted Grey. Genesis grabbed Fairy. "Young naive man! Your travels through dimensions only increase my power!" roared Genesis. "Without the Fairy, you can not stand a chance against me!" Grey started backing up, terrified at Genesis's might. "Help! Grey help!" shouted Fairy, wincing in pain. Grey hastily tried running towards her. "I'm sorry child! No one will stop me from ruling!" Genesis laughed. "Goodbye, Grey." Genesis vanished. Grey fell to his knees and tears fell down his face.

The Government has decided to place safeguards on Fairy poaching; As Grey's greed and impetuous decision had endangered her. Now, Grey must restore order to twisted dimensions To create an army strong enough to defeat the evil Government and the Apostle Of God... Who is bent on..."violating" Fairy's "power"...(>_>)... ...Thus freeing Fairy from the wildlife reserve and allowing Grey to continue Fairy poaching! AN ACTION RPG TO BE ETERNALLY REMINISCED! Therock500; If you've ever played Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden or Bayonetta, or if you're a fan of side-scrolling games, you'll LOVE Hybrid. Hybrid is essentially a 2D Strategic Hack n' Slash, much like the aforementioned games, and practically oozes style in terms of combat. The overbearing system is much like your regular RPG, with levels, equips and whatnot, and the game has quite the engaging storyline to keep you playing, though its true beauty lies in the action itself. You get various Magic with varying levels of power, as well as a few sword attacks that revolve around an item you possess called the "Gravity Globe" which, as its name suggests, lets you toy around with Gravity and "Force" attacks. Overall, I really enjoyed the game, and if any of the aforementioned points interested you, then it will be money well=spent playing it. Also, the Lite version is free to download.

Having played the first version will help you to understand the storyline, but the first portion of HYBRID 2 will give you an introduction of what happened in the first part. As for the gameplay, you will not need to have played the first one to play the sequel. Yes, it will be released for $4.99.
