Was playing the first one again recently after hearing the announcement for this and for some reason I was really turned off by the gameplay aspect the 2nd time through. The analog stick felt really 'sticky' like most gamevil games yet precise movement matters more for this game than the others. Also the combat just felt too 'complex' for touch buttons which leads to frustating mistakes. Hopefully they made some changes or improvements to the system to better support touchscreen devices like from zenonia 1 to 2. Any beta testers wanna give me some insight? I usually buy gamevil games on a heartbeat but this is making me think a little (also still haven't beaten zenonia 2 lol).
Contest: Here's what happened to Fairy and Grey. After Fairy went missing Grey went into a depression which quickly went away after being hoarded with girls after saving the world. (must be nice to be a warrior). Grey went on to live a peaceful life. It wasn't intill 10 years later Grey heard of a website called YouTube and couldn't believe the amount of videos of him there were of his adventuring. He obviously wondered how so many people were recording him everywhere he went without him noticing. (stalkers much? ). Grey decided that if anybody was going to make videos of him and putting it on YouTube it was him which at that moment he vowed to continue his quest to rid the evil of his land and to get 10 million views on his video of course! As for fairy the last thing heard from her was a rumor that she found a water bottle in her dimension and threw it as hard as she could hitting Justin Bieber on the head. Saving the world while missing Now that's a hero!
Fairy is Grey's guide and advisor and has been for most of his life. She was there from the moment he first picked up a blade to help train him for his coming task. She was sent as his guardian to make certain that he fulfilled his destiny. Fairy was doing all she could to help Grey, and she succeeded in helping him to rid the world of evil...but that was not the end of his task. Another evil threatened their world, and it was up to Grey to save it. This time, however, the evil force discovered Grey's weakness and kidnapped Fairy. They moved Fairy to another dimension and prodded Grey to come after her. Without his guide, Grey would have to use all he had learned from Fairy to save her. They were separated by time and resided in alternate universes, but Grey vowed to find Fairy before he took his final breath. Their bond was inseparable, and the evil force had no idea what it was dealing with. Their bond linked them in such a way that even time and space could not separate them. Their bond was more powerful than anything imaginable, and if Grey was not careful, its power could rip the fabric of time and destroy the universe. my humble entry hope you like it
So, Fairy and Grey have a pretty good relationship, but it's not what you would call the "ideal" relationship. Fairy and Grey were lovers, and tried their best to work out their differences, but some things just couldn't be ignored. Grey just couldn't get over the fact that Fairy had a husband back on her world and another on almost every other world that she had visited. See, Fairies are sent to different planets to help certain potential heroes with their quests, and needless to say all that closeness with a strapping hero is simply irresistible. So, Fairies often marry their heroes and live happily ever after. Fairies also have the ability to be in multiple places and realities at once, and this is another thing that Grey just couldn't get over. Fairy, as you may know, could be kissing all of her husbands at the exact same time and Grey just couldn't understand how he would stand out amongst the other 759. This was simply too complicated for him and needless to say, he felt a little unimportant. Fairy tried to explain to him that although she could be in multiple places at once, it didn't mean that her conscience was split amongst each one. She actually left behind a duplicate of herself at each and every location so that each husband could be just as important as every other one. Once she split into another duplicate, she could no longer gather information from that location, only the memories from her brief time there would be intact. So they were all basically different fairies with the same past experiences. As strange as this may sound, it's perfectly normal for fairies, but Grey just couldn't get over it. So, he announced that he needed to think about their relationship some more and figured that saving the world would be a good diversion. So Fairy was left behind and Grey went off to face the evil force once again...and to think about his relationship with Fairy, can't forget that.
game looks very good the UI looks more user friendly and less cluttered stuff on screen compared to the first game. will the UI be like that all the way throughout the game.
Wow...some serious competition coming from these last few posts...o____o Gamevil, am I allowed to write a second entry? If so, I would like to present my entry for the "Most Unreal" section. THE STORY LEADING UP TO HYBRID 2 So, we have Grey and Fairy, two very loving...erm...lovers. BUT ONE DAY FROM THE SKY ALL OF A SUDDEN A LARGE CRASH! It was...someone, fallen from the sky! HOW COULD THAT BE?!? Grey turned to Fairy, "WHO IS THAT FAIRY FROM THE SKY THAT LOOKS LIKE FAIRY" Fairy, in her anxiety, responded, "THE NAME IS...FAIRY!" The events that followed would change Grey's life forever; Fairy #2 revealed that the Fairy Grey knew and loved was really a projection of his own subconscious, and that Grey had been sleeping for over a year now. Fairy and Grey were supposed to leave the dream world together, but Grey got caught up in the dream and formed a new Fairy to keep him company. Fairy #2 whispered ever so softly to Grey, "You're waiting for a game..." The words hit Grey like a freight train. "You know the game should be awesome..." "But you can't be sure", he chimed in. "But it doesn't matter..." Fairy #2 nodded, and took Grey by his hands. "Because Gamevil's games have, uptil now, had a certain degree of quality and polish that is commonly lacking in many other shovelware apps on the appstore." These magical words whispered, Grey allowed himself to leave the Fairy he had been with for all those years and leave with Fairy #2, who offered to help him leave the state of 'Limbo' he seemed to be trapped in. She took the Gravity Globe and with one single motion, cracked it open- FIVE YEARS LATER Grey woke up on a shore of an unknown dimension...the only thing he remembered was that his greed and impetuous decision had endangered Fairy... BUT WHICH FAIRY? AND WAS HE STILL DREAMING? Give me YOUR theory, Gamevil and fellow TouchArcade members!
Fairy and Grey were having a wonderful day, until they heard the noise...a terrifying noise that could only be described as indescribable. After a moment of terror and bewilderment, the ground began to shake and seemed to break apart. A crack formed between Fairy and Grey that grew so fast that they became separated by an impassible gap. Their world was breaking apart by some unknown force and there was nothing they could do to stop it...or was there? Fairy and Grey were separated by the vacuum of space and the distance between them ever increasing. With every inch that separated them, Grey grew less and less powerful as Fairy had given him his powers over time and space. Grey had to move fast to travel into the past to discover what had caused this Armageddon and change it before their separation diminished his powers and set this horrific present into stone.
Fairy and Gray have their own tastes in music. One day when cleaning through items Gray had saved he found a dusty old record, blowing the dust off revealed it to be "Surfin' Bird". Gray began to play the song nonstop, letting everyone know the the bird is the word... Poor Fairy was sick of the bird, the word, and Gray leading to the destruction of a poor innocent record, a good friendship and Gray spouting nonsense across half the world! On another note, the song hit number 50 on the UK charts!!! O.O Sadly just watched family Guy so I know it is pretty much the same... just can't get that stupid song out of my head!!!
Q: What do you think has happened between Fairy and Grey? A: My quest would be that the story will be: Some day, Fairy suddenly disappeared from the place they stay as Fairy's power worn out. Grey doesn't know about it and worries about Fairy sudden disappearance, so he travel through different dimension to find back Fairy. In this journey, Grey went back to all the place he traveled before with Fairy, and many memories of the past together with Fairy came back to him. The nostalgic feeling of Grey give rise to the name of the title, Saga of Nostalgia.
in the name of ...... What happened between Grey and Fairy? Grey and Fairy have exchanged their body. Fairy's soul in Grey's Body and vice versa. Despite the normal dimension travel,experienced Fairy and Grey caught in unstable current inside dimension and it mysteriously changes the body of the duo.
