Which iPod Touch should I get? With such a relatively big purchase, I'm gonna be play it safe and stick with new ones, and AFAIK only 3rd gens are being sold in stores. Out of curiosity, are the different generations of these significant? Then there's capacity. 8, 16, 32, or 64GB models. I'm thinking 32GB might be right for me. 64GB is wonderful, but beyond my budget. Specifically.... -15GB to 20GB for music -5GB I'd imagine for whatever filesystem it uses -which leaves 6GB for other stuff.... GAMES!! but I'd also store pictures, some Office files such as equivalent of Word files and PDFs (if it can't read these, then I'll make due without them), reference material such as English to Chinese dictionary, maps, maybe banking software. I don't imagine PIMs (Personal Info Managers like Memopad, Calendar and Datebook) take up that much space. If things get tight, I can probably hock 5GB+ of unneeded music. These things do NOT have external memory slots right? If you run out of space, then I'm guessing the only thing you can really do is "trade up" to the next capacity? For that matter, how big do the games get? For example, something like below.... can't find how much space it takes. Some of the more complicated games such as like below...... last but not least, it would be nice to use WiFi hotspots. Thanks!
