For me it’s just the thought of renting the games I don’t like. I feel if you e subscribed to Apple Arcade for a year then you should be allowed to keep the games. But that would be near impossible to manage I suppose and also you could say we’re renting the games now as when ‘iOS 28’ comes out you might lose access to lots of games in the future if they’re not updated think I may rejoin AA. Still got so many older games to play though !
I think AA is a fantastic deal, but, knowing you (at least as a forum member) I recommend that you join when you see a game that you want to play right now. AA can be a frustrating way to build your backlog, since games can leave the service before you get to them. The good news is that there is now a pipeline between AA and premium release. It may be helpful to think of membership as a very long demo period .
