Gifting Apps

    I don't mean it's anything wrong, it's just like buying an Ad space on TA, but more effective. But if more established developers start doing this, it would be really bad news for new indie developers. This would also affect some of the app advertising models, like paid to install/etc. I believe most paid to install would cost at least $0.50 to the app seller. I'm also curious how this would affect ads in general like buying ads on TA.

    Question:

    When you gift an app, does it draw from your iTunes account funds, or does it go straight from your credit card?
