Had enough components to create Lunar Orb Bit, but not enough gold; sank components into trinket creation and went out on another quest to earn more gold. Returned to see the "buildable" icon back on the Orb, but now there's no gold payment button there so it can't be built, even though the components are still committed. ETA: the payment button eventually reappeared, but perhaps on a related note, when the "Full Wardrobe" achievement is triggered, the notification pops up and the counter goes up by one, but in the list itself, it,s still down in its original spot with an incomplete progress bar.
Oh dear-- "Restore purchases" keeps incrementing toward Patron Mode on repeated clicks, possibly with some minimum time interval between (but not long enough to require re-entering passwords, so presumably not a repeat lol gin issue). Just recovered Patron Mode without any new purchases at all. "Howl at the Moon" seems to've stopped working vs. anything (frex Pigeons); no healing fx either.
Well, that's not good... Howl at the Moon doesn't do any damage. It gives you a small Heal and Rage for 3 turns - which increases the amount of damage you do to others. Could probably use some healing fx though
The Sun Knight animation stays up after its break message appears, causing weird overlaps with the next summons. ETA: the Pheonix has also done this once, but not always-- haven't yet determined whether this is happenning every time with the Sun Knight or what the common factors are... possibly whether the enemy on the board is resistant to the break element? In the Bestiary, when a creature's attack list is up and the X is tapped to close its entry, the animarion drops away but the profile (with attacks) remains superimposed over the main creature list.
Okay. Fixed. You may take solace in the fact that, of all the bugs that have been reported on here, this one was, by far, the biggest headache. Thanks for that...
You're welcome? No spectacular new bugs found yet. Still can't pin down the specific contexts for the Sun Knight remaining onscreen after limit break. Also, what *is* the significance (if any) to getting the pokey-finger hand to poke combat opponents? The only idea that's come to mind is rage inducement, but IDK.
This. Although, most of the time, you'll only ever need to hit the first creature as that tends to be the one that spawns the others. We're trying to mix that up with the advent of bomb-type creatures that you might want to take out before they can explode. Then there are Mob quests where more than one creature appears at once. Normally you might want to pick and choose a bit there - especially if you apply a status effect to one that means it can't attack next turn.
Thanks for explaining the pokey hand. WRT Snowy Noctuogriff: blinding it doesn't disable its "Night Stare" attack? Really?
Actually, the only status effect that guarantees a monster will miss a turn is Stun. As for the others, they all have the following chances of making the monster miss out: * Blind - 50% * Freeze - 30% * Root - 75% * Confuse - 50%
But, but... eye-based (or at least named) attack and blindness. Okay, the attack names are relatively arbitrary... When the Naga Blade Singer is viewed in the Bestiary, its animation persists even after its profile is closed-- not over the main creature list, but reappearing in subsequently opened profiles. It goes away if the Bestiary is closed sed and reopened again. (ETA: its full-sized animation also remains up after defeat in combat.) Quest 13.3 keeps crashing mid-combat, iirc always at/near the end of Wave 3.
I still have the last beta version, not the soft-realease, so I don't know if this is already fixed-- staves are showing inconsistent stats in worksop vs. inn-- for a level-N staff, the inn (both character overview and staff selection) shows +N/-N, but the workshop shows +2(N+1)/-(N+1). Still haven't pinned down the persistence of status-broken summonses, but it's still mostly Sun Knight with occasional Chthuttoefish, and seems to be somewhat correlated with whether the status break delay vers a killshot. My kids found one bestiary entry where the text description stays up until the bestairy is closed, but I can't find it again :b
Fairly sure I fixed the stats thing - I know I did a re-work of that screen anyway. Summons are definitely fixed - there were some dodgy animation things in there. I'll have a looksee at the Bestiary.
Nope. None at all. Remember when Ubisoft played the "it's too much work" card before? Well, it's true and whilst they're a huge studio with plenty of resources for whom it doesn't really apply, we're not. Mostly it's the gear stuff - we'd have to do male and female versions of each item of gear (and all of its visual upgrades) - but then we'd also probably have to do extra animations too. Anyway, I think Leanne just prefers drawing female characters. Part of that is down to the fact that I told her she couldn't do beards. The Beard Goblin is a direct rebuff as a result of that statement.
Facebook scores The scores on the leaderboard are appearing in the order they were set rather than by value Also aparently I'm Leanne?(see image)
Spell book Would it be possible for the spell book to tell me how many times I've cast each spell? I'm not sure if I subconsciously favour certain spells/elements it'd help me decide which spells I want to upgrade
Stage 18 crash and menagerie bug Hi. I've been enjoying the game a lot and there are two troubles I have run into so far: 1. Menagerie bug - it doesn't cost money to buy/feed, only resources. Keeps on happening throughout the game but does not disrupt the gameplay. 2. First quest of stage 18 loads up normally - the glyphs are visible as is main character but the moment the monster is supposed to be loaded the game crashes. It keeps on happening, not allowing me to continue I'm level 32 and I'll be glad to provide any info necessary to get rid of this bug before official launch. Many thanks for creating such a bright and cute game. I'm not a big fan of changing the model from purchasing game to purchasing resources, however, the only thing that really makes me upset about it is the spell upgrade mechanics. Have you thought of a patron version with all of the spells upgraded? I'd love to buy it Other than that it's really fun and I'm crossing my fingers for successful launch!
Both of those bugs have been fixed for release (20th July!) - thanks. There are two ways to unlock Patron Mode - either organically (buy lots of small things over a period of time) or straight up (purchase the Patron Pack). The chances are that to do it organically, you're going to have to buy Gems - the Alchemist and Loyalty Card will only take you so far. Likewise, the Patron Pack comes with a bunch of Gems. Also, popping the Achievement for activating Patron Mode also gives you a load of Gems. What I'm trying to say is that when you do finally get to Patron Mode, you should have plenty of Gems to do a spot of spell upgrading. That said, we never really want anyone to be able to upgrade all of their spells to the maximum, simply because we always want people to be choosing their particular loadout and specialising a bit.
