I bought it around two months ago, played it for a couple of days and haven't opened it since then. Reinstalled it a bit ago, but dang, should have waited for this sale
Do I need more than a gig to download this? I read on the other thread it was 688 uncompressed but I guess with upgrades it's now 462(compresses I guess) which is I dunno what uncompressed. So do u need double that to download it? I can't dnld now with about 950 mb... - Can't buy it with 1.1 gb either...

Ha... Believe it or not... Ive never played GTA 3. Never really interested me... But for a buck, I can't find one reason not to see what all the fuss has been about. I'll try and keep in mind that this was released 10(+?) years ago... But still, I'm not really one for action/adventure games (spider-man, iron man, ect...), so I don't know if I'll really enjoy this one too much. Im about 10 minutes in, and do like the driving that's thrown into the mix.... Anyway... Hard to pass up a game that's gotten so much attention over the years when it's priced at a buck... Oh... And is Universal! =oP
Only a few games ever deserve universal applause, this would be one oft them, for what it d for open world gaming.
Hmm...I would have to beg to differ on this particular comment by stating this is only partially true.. If you're running GTA3 on an A4 device, then yes I would agree that this game does look alittle blocky. But if you're using an A5 device, well you shouldn't experience any blocky visuals at all. I paid full price from this the day it was released and haven't regretted one penny spent, you have to remember this is 10 years old, but you're playing it on your PHONE...If you would have bet me £10,000, back in 2001 that I'd be playing the exact same game, with improvements, on my PHONE only ten years later, I would have snapped your hand off, whilst looking at my Nokia 3310 BTW, now we know this is basically the PC port with the xbox visuals added to A5 devices, we can MOD every part of this game!! Love the mods! I'm really having a blast in this game, I like the "violent sandbox" overall even if it is 10-years old, its a great play. I liked Gangstar but this just seems like more fun...and for the buck a steal!
Bought this at 2.99 just to have it sitting on my computer waiting for me to buy a new iPod. Soon, GTA3. Soon...
Yep, what puzzles me is that in the dcription it mentions that GTA Vice City is discounted too so im guessing its released today?
What it says is that this and Chinatown are on sale to commemorate the anniversary of Vice City, not that vice city is discounted. Or released yet. Vice City is coming this fall.
Join the club. Quite excited about it as well. Looking forward to trying out some car mods on it. And simply having it in my pocket. It'll be a blast.
Great game and universal. Has both touch and tilt controls. Well worth 99 cents even if you don't finish it. Highly recommended!
