having a blond moment... Please help I cant figure out the code in the drawer in the second room. I found 11/10 on the television, 1998 on the pic and 7 years in the journal. Any help would be appriciated!
First make sure that the combination is reset by turning the handle. Then turn the wheel in the order that the symbols appear in the calendar (I believe there's a letter next to each symbol showing the right order). Go right to the first symbol, then left to the next one, then right again, till you get to the last symbol. That should work for you.
The code is the date of the wedding. 11/10 was the day, 1998 was 7 years after the wedding, so 1998-7 = 1991. I believe the order is year first, then month/day.
room three I can't figure out how to access the safe behind the painting in room three! I've got everything else including bent bars, calendar, etc
Thanks for the suggestion...however, I still can't get it to work! The handle doesn't actually turn to start out with - is it supposed to? Then, when trying the combination symbols, do you just go to them directly or do you have to go 4 turns to the right, stopping on the first symbol the 4th time you come to it, the second symbol the third time to the left, etc.? I have to point out that I've never been very good at working a combination lock on a REAL safe, either. So, any other suggestions or clarification? Thanks!
Sadly, I finished up that room a little while back and I don't remember exactly how I turned the wheel. I believe they're single turns -- right, then left, then right. When you click on the handle you should hear a click: that should reset the lock so you can start over again.
Thanks! Got it to work...had to repetitively tap on the handle before it would click. Now, trying to tear down a curtain, because that's what I think I'm supposed to do (???) but repetitive tapping on either one doesn't seem to work...
You need something to cut it with. There's a nice piece of glass on the door, and you have a heavy metal ashtray on hand...
THANK YOU! I figured it all out finally...but, quite ironically, it crashes just after I open the door - tried 4 times and it crashed each time. Figures!
Most likely a memory issue. Try restarting before playing again -- or better yet, get System Activity Monitor and clear your memory without restarting.
Help with secret room I feel like an idiot, but I feel like I've tried arranging the puzzle behind the picture in every conceivable way and i can't get it! HELP!

I'm looking for the 1 tile. 0 fit under the table and opened the door. Can anyone refresh my memory on the 1. I had it last night but this game makes you start the room over from the beginning - arrrg! Thanks!
The number 1 is under the plate on the table. But where to find the 0 and 5? Any help would be great!!
OK, I feel like a goon for asking, but I've been stuck in the bathroom for about 45 minutes. I have the soap, rusted key, etc, but I can't seem to find a way to get the soap wet. I've noticed the toothbrush in the drain to the left of the sink, but I don't seem to be able to pick it up no matter where I tap, and using the soap on the tank at the back of the toilet doesn't seem to do anything, so I'm stumped. Also, the top 2 drawers of the lower vanity don't seem to open for me. Is this a bug, or are they not supposed to?
