Here's how to bypass the 2nd gen iPod Touch Requirement (For GTA Chinatow Wars)

Oh, I mistyped - it meant .app

 

With the iPod requirements you only need 3.1 or above, not 3.1.2.
Even though it says 3.1.2 in the game description it says on iTunes that this is not the case. It takes up 180-odd mb on your computer and around 700mb on your device (I believe)

Game runs absolutely perfectly on the 1st Gen. There is nothing that I can tell that's preventing this game from being compatible with our device

 

So after I do the extracting it says to open the new 'Payload' folder and move the file to Itunes.
I don't have a file in there but I have a folder -
Now got screenshots to show.

(I have 3.1.2 and downloaded winRAR today so it's the latest version)

Could you explain please,
I have tried putting it into the 'Itunes' folder as seen in the screenshot but the app isn't found anywhere, not on itunes or ipod (after sync ofc).

File is RsIP1.app for GTA? I drag it to my library then I try to drag and drop it to my iPod but it won't work I just has the black circle with a line through it what am I doing wrong??? Is the modified app supposed to say unknown genre?

I have a .app folder but no file for GTA. I need help so bad. I want to play this. I'm on XP I have 1 gb left on my itouch. I did everything rite!!

If you are having trouble:

Extract the Payload folder like instructed
-Go into the Payload folder and you will find the R1sd (Or whatever it's called) .app folder.
-Drag that into your mobile applications folder (Where you originally got GTA: CTW from)
-Go to iTunes and then go >File >Add File to Library and select the .app folder
-Go to your iPod Touch, select Applications and scroll down until you find GTA: CTW
-Make sure the box is ticked then once you have enough space it should then install

It should be in My Music > iTunes > iTunes Music > Mobile Applications
Sometimes the Mobile Applications folder is just in the iTunes bit. If you can't find it just search around the iTunes folder and you will find it.
Also if you have moved your iTunes folder it won't be in My Music, but that's where it's originally placed.

O I am loving it. Didn't think I would(hate top down) but this game is amazing. Honestly it's a better experience than GTA IV! lol 5 hours of gameplay 5% completion.

 

This game has the most depth of any iPhone game by far!
