you kill the target you will have about 8-9 sec till extraction, you have to get headshot during these 8 sec. I recommend taging 3 guard, kill the target and then activate the tag and assist ability which auto headshot targets.
Boom! Assassin! All guns unlocked except IAP guns. Thought it would be tougher to get Assassin but did it without really trying with the Volante.
Funny this should come up. I got a score of 9.6M when i got it and went from platinum 3 to assassin so i didnt know the req. i just did a mission and afterwards i was bumped down to platinum 1. And there it says assassin is for top 200 scores which i was at 156 or so and now im at 333. Im sure worldwide there are hundreds or thousands of scores higher than mine so im wondering how they group people. Wondering if it may be on current mission. I still have the gun so i dont care. But its interesting.
10m is the assassin threshold. Or at least 9m is the last threshold before assassin and the gun was unlocked when I got an 11.5m score. I jumped from over 9 to over 11 and didn't pause at the 10 in between so it's possible that 11m is the threshold but I doubt it as it wouldn't coincide with the final tier curves and because just over 12m is the highest legitimate score I've seen on game centre at the moment (excluding the few hundred hackers with billions, sad eejits). It's a high enough at 10m but definitely attainable with some clever shots. I outlined how I got my score earlier so if you check my post history on the page, it might be helpful (no promises though). Edit. It's the third last post on page 16 of this thread. Plus after reading Strelbirds post I'm not 100% sure if I'm right about ten million but I'm pretty sure that's when it unlocked for me and that it's the current threshold. But then again, I never came acrossor was aware of the top 200 people thing so I guess we will have to see what the next person unlocks it at.
My high score is 9,298,400 which got me into assassin league. It may be 10 mil to have a permanant spot there. At some point ill get it but atm im not going for a high score, just missions. Rip, i have the last 2 guns unlocked now, which would you level up first? The last i assume has the higher score multiplier but the second to last has the better score perk (30% compared to 20%)
Hmmmm, interesting one. The multipliers are much better on the Adagio and I very much like the dead eye perk over any of them but the Cipher is pretty cool looking but I'd still prefer the Adagio. If the Adagio had the penetration rounds, it'd be awesome as it has instinct. Plus it's very steady even without using the lungs or dead eye, so Adagio it is really. For me anyway. On the Assasin tier, you were right first time, it is top 200 (of the legitimate scores). Never knew that, thankfully we got in there fast. I just checked and I'm back at Platinum 1. Dammit I was no 4 during the week. Ah well. I still have the gun of course, unlocked is unlocked, but the threshold now might well be 12 million or over. I guess if someone needs to know, there is Game Center in the settings tab, go in there and the leaderboard is up there. Skip the first few hundred that are obviously leaderboard hackers and haven't actually scored in the game at all with their billions of points and start at the 12 million mark to estimate the true leaderboard. It'll be pretty obvious who the hackers are and who the first real legitimate player is and countdown from there. Gamecente leaderboard isn't how the top 200 are determined, they obviously do that on their own server rather than gamecenter so don't worry about the hacker scores influencing it. They don't and won't. It'll just provide some I for to get an estimate as to what one needs to score. I'll try and have a look later on to see what the current needs to be and I'll check back in if I find the time to do that and get the right info.
And then what? I need to kill 2 Targets with one explosion.... There is nothing in the room that I can explode...
I sent them an email as well last week. Was shocked when they actually replied. The guy, who's signature said he was some kind of manager. Said they were aware of the problem. And for my trouble he would unlock the boroque and give me 1000000 to max upgrade it. That never actually happened, the. He said they unlocked some "goodies", but that never happened either. So seems they are having. More than a few problems ATM.
Is there a penalty for skipping a mission? I know U have to pay but is there a penalty for not being able to reach certain level?
Probably was the community manager. I would send him back an email saying it didn't unlock with a screenshot it's still locked. He is a man of his word and I have no doubt he will follow through on it. It's probably a push to unlock sync over the air thing that didn't work. I can assure you he would rather know and fix it than let you down. @Aerys, no there is no penalty. That mission that you skip will eventually cycle around again in the future anyway but either way it won't impact on you're levelling up.
Does anyone know what constitute a chain, I finished missions with chain by luck. Now I'm stuck in a mission that require a 8 quick kill chain.
To get a quick kill chain, you have to kill several targets in rapid succession without a gap longer than about 5-6 seconds. Blowing up several at once does not count as more than one quick kill, so it's best to shoot them one by one. You'll have to do even longer chains than 8 later in the game. These were some of the hardest challenges for me since at some point you'll have trouble finding targets quickly enough. BTW, I just finished all challenges, yay. A bit sad that I'm done now though. Can't even take part in the leaderboards since I refuse to create a Facebook account (which also means I can't get all the free guns). Wish they offered an alternative to Zuckerberg's cash machine.
