Not a big fan of pale ale - slightly too bitter for my taste My all time fave: Boulevard Wheat comes in at a close second (and i'm not just saying that because I'm from Kansas )
oh without a doubt, I was just there last week on the way back from the brewers game. I always bring a cooler to stock up with amazing curds. if they don't squeak, I don't want them.
If anyone finds themselves in North Yorkshire (UK), I strongly recommend a pint or 6 of Theakston's Old Peculier. I had my first about 15 year ago now, and it's still the best British beer I have ever drunk...period http://www.theakstons.co.uk/ales/index.html
I haven't really drank beer since my college days...this thread is bringing back that familiar thirst.
I have a boulevard brewing pint glass, but I never have had any of their beers. They sound pretty amazing. On the website they said they offer the wheat now in 16oz alum bottles. I really REALLY REALLY want to try the Bourbon Barrel Quad (BBQ) from Boulevard. Jece have you had it?
It doesn't look like it, champ. It is an island experience. I live on the mainland about... umm... 70-80km or so from the brewery and I can't get it here. I have found it on all the surrounding islands (except Saturna) in Canadian territory. I have not checked the nearby islands just across the US border. It is possible you can find it there. I am sure you will sample some tasty beers in Montréal, regardless.
Nope, havent tried it but it sounds really good, I'll definatly have to check in to that. Boulevard out of a bottle isn't bad, but it tastes 20 times better on tap- throw in a lemon wedge and its one of the greatest things you will ever taste
has anyone ever had this? holy crap its delicious. also drank one of my favorite beers tonight, that has been aged for a couple years, the big bottle none of the wussy 12oz stuff: anybody had anything great lately?
