Maybe there is some meaning in the number of rings?

    Or... um...

    Nope... I don't know...:(

Hmm... Maybe we need to break it down some more... is there a pattern to the numbers?

    Hmm, 4+5+6 = 15

It's supposed to be 15 rings total. Yet 4 blue rings ... 5 green rings ... 6 black rings ... Is the red ring the 16th ring?

Still haven't found the iphone.ezone.com link though.

Is it a coincidence that 16 is also the number for this data puzzle?

I should be sleeping....darn you garbot1. Anyway I was already think along the lines that it has something to do with the numbers. I realized that 4 + 5 + 6 equals 15 but there was the one more red ring so that would make it 16 rings. I'm pretty sure thats significant, but that's as far as I've gotten with it.

I even thought that maybe the 4, 5, 6 and associated colors could be interpreted as parts of the path name but that hasn't gotten me anywhere yet either.

Me too. I've tried the likes of /1of16/ /red16/ etc.

I think the toad offered rings 1 to 15 (which were the safe choices) ... and then tossed out an extra 16th ring, and the beggar woman succumbed to temptation.

    Whatever that means.

Coincidentally, the 16th line of the poem is: "That he would be turned into a handsome young king again" ...

It's as if 16th ring = the above result. And maybe he wouldn't have become a king again if she had chosen from the first 15 rings. Sorry I have gone off track here. :p

But... what do the numbers stand for I wonder? What is their purpose?

4 blue, 5 green, 6 black and then another red one? Hmm?

7 red? But there is only 1 red ring. So I have no clue as of now.

BUT it occurs to me I know why the filing cabinet exploded ... Because it was Code Red. :D

well I did think of the ring color coding on resistors. But that didn't work then I thought of how about 1 followed by 15 zeros (rings) and the reverse of course, nothing there either. Cant match it up with birthstones and months either.

Or ... since there is 1 red ring, 4 blue, 5 green, 6 black ... Does it mean there are two missing colors? 2 X and 3 Y? Maybe yellow and white?

If indeed there are two missing ring colors, I wonder if the total number of rings is actually 21, not 16.

    /21/ or /21rings/ didn't give any result though. Or /1of21/. :(

... which would mean the red ring is either the first or the last of the 21 rings.

Or the 1 red ring can be the toad's lips, waiting for a kiss :)
