    Rank update!

Okay... just for fun, I processed all of the data and posts on this thread to see where everyone stands (rank-wise) in the running for the Grand Prize...

So far (taking into account who has solved the most, who has helped the most, who has tried the hardest, who has the best manners, who has accumulated the most eligibility points, who has been given the most eligibility points, who has really tried, who has dropped the most hints, who has given it their all despite chasing red herrings and going off on wild goose chases, who has finally understood the hints, who has used both sides of their brain to the fullest, who has stepped in at the last second to solve the puzzle, who has taken the wildest guesses, who has come up with the most amazing deciphering ideas, who has blown the most gaskets, who has lost the most sleep, who has shown the most devotion to deciphering, who was the fastest at solving the puzzles, who has solved the most puzzles in a row, who has spoon-fed the answer to other players, who has been spoon-fed the answer by other players, who has raced in at the last second and used the answer that someone had just provided without realising that they had just provided it, who has waited for everyone to go to sleep in order to solve the puzzlesÂ…etc) this is the updated top 10 list of names of who currently has the best chance of winning the grand prize of a Parrot AR. Drone (a cool hover toy!!!)

Note: This list may change depending on how the rest of the contest continues... As you can see (if you look through this thread)... we've had quite a shuffle of names as we've progressed through this contest! So you never know! You've got to be in it for a chance at the Grand Prize! So get in there!

If your name hasn't made the list - you need to try harder (you may just be in position 11)!

Extra note: You don't need to actually solve the puzzles in order to be eligible... you may earn eligibility by just being helpful in the thread!

    Good luck everyone!

Be on the look out for more puzzles!! :D

    Nice work staulcub!

Finally made it back to post. I'll have to admit this one had me stumped. I was figuring the first part as either 'team' or 'toy' and heavily favoring 'toy' but I couldn't figure out what the green thing was. SO I went to lay down around 2am to mull it over and accidentally fell asleep. Of course you had it solved by the time I woke up. I still tried to solve it and was figureing the last part was 'nigh', but I never expected the minus 'P' to also mean minus 'E' (for those that still don't get the 'E' part in bass clef the notes change hence the note is not a 'C' as some would expect but ends up being and 'E'). It took my daughter to figure out the green thing was a 'P' so basically I then had TOYIES E NIGH. And thats all the closer I got.

So again way to go on that one!

The puzzles are too complicated for me too. And it doesn't help that I've been busy.

Congrats to all the puzzle solvers!

    Oops, oh wrong holiday.

HO, HO, HO! Oh garbot, come out, come out, where ever you are.

And I thought 18" of snow was a good enough reason to stay home and get things done. But boy is my back sore.

Just checking in. Hope everyones shopping is going well.

    Auto-message from garbot1:

Unbelievable! You deciphered my 55th encrypted data packet!

Thank you - you deserve a reward!

To claim your prize, you need to be the first person to post the following to the official Hover World Alternate Reality Game thread at TouchArcade.com:

    1. Password: SOCLOSE!_MEM_RECOVER_55

    2. Precise details of how you found this page (be sure to mention this URL "contest.ezone.com/DIVERSIONISCOOL")!

    3. At this point you have a choice:

You can claim which Ezone.com app you would like as a prize, and earn SOME eligibilty points - which go towards your chance of winning the grand prize (A really cool hovering Parrot A.R.Drone).

    or

You can forfeit the Ezone.com app prize, and earn EVEN MORE eligibility points towards your chance of winning the grand prize.

    or

You can be really nice and selfless, and forfeit the Ezone.com app prize AND nominate another Hover World Alternate Reality Game thread member to have their eligibility points increased SOME (this in turn will earn you MORE eligibility points!) Good karma and all that! :) PLEASE NOTE: Once YOU nominate someone - YOU can't nominate them again for the duration of the contest... Unless you've nominated everyone once already! :)

Well, what are you waiting for? Hurry up, someone else may be posting the winning entry right now!!

ah crap, missed this one totally...but thats okay I haven't a clue on it and didn't/don't have the time at the moment. I wasn't expecting one until 11p or so. You caught me studing and then I wondered over to my computer and low and behold a puzzle that was already solved.

I took a quick look but my brain is fried and all I was coming up with is

    LOOKSNOWSHERE

    (hook = look, clothes = snows, blur=here)

I know to much snow on the brain at the moment.

How did you come up with DIVERSIONISCOOL? Oh well, I have to go do other stuff right now. To much studying and preparing stuff for an office christmas party tomorrow.

staulcub dude, You are the king. mucho congrats!

You need to look closely at the image and the words "DIVERSIONISCOOL" are spelled out in it. The ear initially made me think that it was a "sounds like", but then I noticed the hidden letters and I went down that path.

Now that I think about it, I think that the puzzle actually means LOOK CLOSER (HOOK CLOTHES BLUR).

Wow! I just had a dream! And no... it wasn't about electric sheep.

The following paragraph just popped into my head!!

Once in a while I can be found. Except I can never be found in your world. Yet I am present in this time. I can be found once in this life, once in this second, once in this minute and even once in this year, but I'll never appear in this hour. Look for me in your dimension - and you'll find me. Look for me in your mind - and I'm not there!

    What does it mean?! :confused::eek::D:)
