I recently purchased a new computer and promptly set about transferring all my stuff onto it, including iTunes. Seeing as how I didn't have a way to transfer my iTunes library via disc, I used an external drive to transfer my apps to the new computer, then uploaded them to iTunes. I then downloaded a few apps and decided to try and sync my Touch the the new computer to transfer the new apps. iTunes promptly told me that in order to sync with a new computer, I'd have to totally wipe the iPod first. WELL. THAT is something that I am NOT keen on doing; is there any way to get around the "only one computer per iPod" rule? I am not using the old computer at all anymore, is there a way to get it "deleted" from iTunes? Should I SSH my iTouch (it's jailbroken) to back up all my saved games? Does anyone have a good solution? Thanks! -3D
You have to match the itunes library IDs on the computers. Try this page for help: (one of many found via Google) http://www.ismashphone.com/2009/05/how-to-sync-your-iphone-to-multiple-computers.html
Oh sweet! That's just what I'm looking for; I googled for the topic a few times and couldn't find anything relevent. Thanks much! -3D
