      I have a friend who is a developer, but he doesn't know how to create promo codes. I did use the search, but I couldn't find how. Thanks!

      On iTunes Connect. You get access to that when you pay the developer fee

      i might be wrong but apple gives the codes to devs max. 50 for every version of the game maybe you should ask apple
