I just saw this picture and its amazing how the earth is so small compared to other planets and i just learned a new thing today. Haha tried embedding it and it's really, really big. That's really interesting though. Weird how small this planet is, yet to us this world is so big. Always wondered why those dolls sang "It's A Small World After All" at Disneyland.
Family Portrait That's a great picture! I saw a picture that was released years ago by Nasa. At the time of it's release I saw it in a newspaper and thought "Wow". It was a montage of photos taken by one of the Voyager spacecraft as it reached the edge of our solar system. It is essentially a family portrait of our solar system and is to me one of the most amazing "photos" I've seen. I think it is awe inspiring to know that something man made has looked back at our solar system and taken a family photo! You've gotta love the Internet. I googled it for you! i was gonna make the same point. What are the chances that out of trillions of planets, only one (earth) contains life? statistically, i'd say about 0%
what are the chances that the only two planets out there happen to be like, RIGHT next to each other it's like the aliens are out and they say hey y'all! don't think so.
