I had well over 100 paid apps as a backup in my iTunes Application tab. But i bought an externel hard drive and moved itunes over, but everything got erased and when i click 'Sync iPod' it says, "are you sure you want to sync to this computer? You can only sync to one computer at a time and will erase your ipod for this one." Or something like that. Now i know i can still download games, that doesn't effect me, but syncing them to the computer so i have a backup if something happens.
    Any Advice?

*Sorry if this is in the wrong topic

By everything got erased, what exactly do you mean? Did you reformat the whole PC or something? or just the iTunes part got erased? Or you meant something else?

    Did you authorize the computer?

Yup, you`ll need to re authorize your iTunes with your account first. Then it wont ask you to delete stuff from the iPod. You might have deleted all the iTunes settings by mistake here.

It didnt happen directly coz of using external HDD. He moved all the iTunes data from his pc hdd to the external, and in the process he some how gamaged/deleted iTunes files. Now the computer is no longer authorized with his iTunes account and thats why he`s getting these errors coz the iPod thinks its a new computer and not the one it synced to earlier.
