Speaking as an Australian who has no idea about American elections... to us it looks like something taken from reality television, embarrassing, full of crazy people saying/doing crazy things. None of them seem genuine, none of them seem to be taking it seriously and none of them seem to be doing it for the right reasons, instead for purely selfish ones. It doesn't seem real at all. The fact that it is real and actually happening in our world is truly scary.
That's what most Americans think about it as well. I mean, Trump for President?? Are you kidding me!?!? He's had multiple foreclosures and has proven that he's a biggot. How can he be the leader of the free world. I'm honestly afraid of what will happen if this clown is elected into office. It's the real life version of the South Park episode I believe was titled Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich
Speaking as an American... Yep! The good news is that all polls are making it very clear that the vast majority of Americans can't stand him and he'll get clobbered in historic proportions in the general election if he makes it that far. He's just taking advantage of a splintered GOP primary and lots of angry (and many ignorant) voters. I saw a bumper sticker this morning with his and Hillary's face on it. It said "Trump the bitch". I mean, seriously? Like women need further motivation to pound him at the polls. Just dumb. Oh, and... Cute game!
So I am guessing this is a thread destined to live in infamy right along side that thread started by kjib (sp?) from several years back.
Hey, the best we can do is throw shit at the wall until something sticks. Kinda like the current American political system.
Mate, have you never watched Parliament Question Time? You'll never see a more childish group of adults.
Yeah, it IS a joke, isn't it?! Embarrassing. Sick of the 'Chump' and his stupid asinine antics! Can't wait 'til it's over and he can climb back into his hole and be who he really is: the biggest loser! ( his new reality show) Just hope everyone uses their dis-pleasure and votes him away. Think about it. If us Americans are so stupid and elect him (God forbid) then we deserve it for being stupid as a people. Sad. Well, there's always impeachment....
The fact that he's gotten this far in the political arena has an unsettling feel of what (some) people are thinking. At first his bid for presidency looked to be somewhat entertaining but people are actually considering him. I hate to think of our direction as a nation if it was the majority. Doubt that it'll happen, but still the possibility is there all the same which is the scary reality of it.
Mexican here, kinda glad I got a job offering at UK, now I won't pay for that wall Trump wants to make (I doubt he'll deliver on that one), but yeah, I hope that as @Echoseven said, the illuminati prevent him from winning.
What will be very interesting will come about if he snags his party nomination. Then I hope there is a statistic system somewhere that tracks just how many annoyed republicans vote democrats this fall for Hillary or sanders. He dosent stand a chance in the main election. He's pissed off most minority groups and his own party is so polarized over him that their considering voting against him if he makes it that far.
Do you really think that is all true? Certainly that is what is being put out "according to the polls". Propaganda is a very powerful tool, if not the most powerful tool of a modern society.
