Just don't spoil our (already damaged) German reputation. Anyway, I think that TA's staff was abducted by aliens and they made strange experiments with them... probing and stuff - and now they are chosing the most idiotic game for the GOTY title.
These threads are getting out of hand. Having said that, I think TA's GOTY should be more of a motto like... "TA's Game of the Year: Whatever Wets Your Pants" (can't claim anyone's paying anyone off for that)
Well we are all gamers, (most of us) And we feel as if Arlon did not at all diserve the award, decent game props to the devs but the fact is rr2 and nova there are just so many to name, they all were outstanding. Rigged voting... Overhyped
TA's coming out with their official game of the year in a few days. Why can't you just wait and see what that is before you shit you pants anymore along with all the other douchebags freaking out over a freaking poll? It really doesn't effing matter. Seriously? That is what you think drives the staff to write a front page article that is not just a paragraph but a synopsis of the entire Angry Bird phenomenon (even if it didn't mention the plush toys and You Tube spoofs but hey it got most of it in there )? That article took time, energy, research and thought! And as far at the whole Game of the year thing goes - far as I can see it is still the "unofficial" Game of the Year. There may be an official announcement coming or maybe not, but the title still says "unofficial" so whoever is on anyone's back can get off since it isn't binding in the least! (and please do tell me that the you see the sarcasm in this thread, especially the last handful excluding yours)
Good, cuz I was told that my choice of Doodle Jump was too old for this year so I have all my fingers and toes crossed for Skee Ball to be chosen!
