      I am betatesting an app caled Dropzap. But when I drag the files into itunes and I click sync it says "error, we couldn't download dropzap onto your device" or something like that.

      did u drag the zip and certificate into itunes

      Huh, I didn't even know you had to extract files. I always thought it was just .zip file and provisioning profile.

      unzipping the .zip file gives you a .app file. You put the .app file into itunes along with the provisioning file.
