I have an iPhone 3G, running iOS4. I downloaded iBooks, and have tried to download many books and none of them finish downloading - they always get stuck right at the end. I have tried reinstalling the app but it makes no difference. I've also tried to sync the existing epub books I have in iTunes, but they don't appear either. The Winnie The Pooh ebook which is supposed to be packaged with each iBook app is not visible either. Anybody know what's going on?? Thanks.
When I try syncing iBooks to my touch, it gives the warning that all of my music, movies and apps will be reomved. I don't want to try it yet since I don't have the time to reinstall all that stuff, but does that really happen??
Could be a problem with your internet connection or the App Store at your country. I installed iBooks just fine and although its empty, I could download the Winnie The Pooh Book just fine. Upon sync, it synced back the book to my itunes just fine as well. Have not tried putting my own ebooks from itunes to be synced to the device though.
I'm also having the same problem. iTunes says books are there. they never finish downloading and ones i put in don't show up. pls help guys
