Sorry if this has been suggested before, I did a search to no avail! Anyways could it be possible to make TAs homepage optimized for our iDevices so we just see titles instead of having to zoom in. A good example is Gizmodo's mobile site if you've seen it
No, I want it to remain the same when I open up Safari on my iPod, but I want a TA app, with a screen optimized for iDevices.
+1 I would even pay for it. Hi arn maybe you should let us "donate" a buck for the app since it does cause money to make the app just like AppSniper did and also maybe a optimized iphone version of the forums ;]
There's an app called Forums that allows you to view forums. It's designed especially for iDevice screens. Although right now it's pricey and the devs say on iTunes that it's only for demonstration purposes right now. Although I believe they'll add support for many different forums soon.
Here is a link of the RSS feed for mobile. Does exactly what the OP wants. http://reader.mac.com/mobile/v1/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.toucharcade.com%2Ffeed%2F
That'd be kind of a pain to remember . I was just curious about it if that was an idea. There could be the option to have the mobile option but you could have the full site if you wanted.
You know, sites like Google and Facebook are optimized for mobile devices when accessed by mobile devices by default, but they do both give users the option of viewing the pages in 'classic' mode. So an app to perform the same function is redundant and would only hog valuable springboard real estate. I have not personally explored this in depth, though I am under the impression that mobile optimization is a simple Drupal module.
Yeah I know I was just offering the optimized mobile page as an option similar to how google, facebook, twitter, tuaw, gizmodo, etc are. They give options to have the full page if you want it, but if you want to only read headlines really quickly you can do that too.
But no comment on the feasability of a TA app? I'm guessing your silence means it is very improbable.
