Hi there, I know there have been many threads on this in the past, but not like mine! I'm going to be looking for a computer soon and need some help. I currently have a desktop ACER running vista...HATE IT! I am an artisty type of game, but loves some BASIC gaming as well as doing homework and projects and always being online. Laptops would be nice, but not needed. My brother is going to college and is getting a new laptop, I can take his, but his is nothing like what I want/need and it would be great for my mother. My question is: What should I get/convince my parents to let me get? A mac? A tablet? A PC? A Laptop? A notebook? Keep my brothers old computer and get: Ipad? New ipod touch? Hold out for verizon iphone? Thanks!!!! (threads like this make me sounds greedy *facepalm*

A mac? I think they're overpriced for what you get, but I do love the design, and alot of people love them. A tablet? Have one now, I use the tablet a lot less then I thought I would, and would rather have gone with a higher spec machine instead of paying more for the tablet. A PC? I would get a really fast gaming laptop with Windows 7, but thats just my opinion again A Laptop? With the amount of power you can get in laptops these day you mine as well A notebook? I have no advice for these
... MBP? Thought I doubt you, being a middle schooler, would get one. And unless you're serious about art, don't get a Wacom tablet.
