I hope everyone remembers that Black Friday is next week. And that can only mean one thing, sales! Last year was big when it came to app store games. There were so many sales it was hard to keep up. So wait before you make that next purchase, it just might have a sale (or even become free).
The sales are even starting this friday. Did you see how many games went from something like $5 to $1. Edit: Well there are always sales on friday but there where a few big sales.
Already purchsed more games this week than I have in a long time. Too late for me, but save yourselves!
Finally someone else who can use sarcasm well. Edit: Here's the list of stores black friday sales. http://www.blackfriday.info/sales/
Has anyone else tried to go to dicks.com by mistake because you thought it would be dicks sporting goods? This happened to me when I was looking for shoes as a child.
Dude yeah, but the owner of the site was kind enough to warn me before I entered it. It was a page saying this is not dicksportingoods.com but a prno site.
Black Friday has been amazingly underwhelming for me in the past few years. Online retailers like Amazon are always having crazy sales and sites like slickdeals.net track them all. If you're good at checking the deal sites, you can often pick up cheaper (and often times better) deals than Black Friday stuff that don't involve weird off-brand last year's model that requires getting up at 3:00 AM and waiting in line to buy one of the three a store might have in stock.
Online shopping is the best. You don't have to wait in line and you get great deals. Kind of like iDevice apps.
Hmmm... I don't really seem to remember there being that many good sales in the app store during last years black Friday. I remember there being a lot talk about which apps people hoped would go on sale, but I seem to remember being fairly let down as Thanksgiving weekend came around. This year could be completely different though, considering the fact that the app store has taken off exponentially since this time last year
