ah yes! thank you for bringing up Uniwar, I don't have any turn based games and would love one. Uniware and Mecho War are both .99 and seem good, but is Uniwar better?

    here is the problem...

mechowars will be getting some major updates in the next couple weeks or so says the twitter account. they will be adding multiplayer to mechowars, which i hope is the same as uniwar (you can play battles over e-mail alerts, and the games can be logged onto from 3g so you dont have to have wifi).

i enjoy UniWar more only because i play online with a couple friends, so having 5 games going at once, or more, is fun, there are 3 armies to choose from and enough differences and similiarities to have strategy but also have balance.

i do enjoy mechowars and the updates it has gotten so far (they added another single player story) so i guess it comes down to how well they implement multiplayer online. Not sure it will stay at .99 for that though.

I prefer mecho wars as it is very similar in gameplay to advance wars on gba.
Or if you don't already have defender chronicles you should get it instead while it is still on sale.

which game would you prefer for a single plater experience? if either?
cause I like these games, but most the time I'm terrible at them but have fun playing, so the computer is a big enough challenge for me haha

hmmm, i don't know, people on these forums seem to like mecho wars much more, but i lean towards UniWar.
i guess as far as only single player, mecho wars will be better for you, both storylines were good playthroughs.

but believe me man, they are very similiar in gameplay, while thier looks are very different. look up some reviews on both, maybe some video of each and make your choice based on that.

plus both of the games have skermish modes so you can always just pick a map and play the computer in that. (well mecho wars has "challenges" but they are good times, where uniwar you can pick any map and 1 of the 3 armies).

ok, I like the looks of Uniwar over Mecho, but I'll check out some vids, but does it offer a Single Player campaign that is fun?

Hmm I'm stuck! Think I should just drop Doodle Jump which may only entertain me for a couple min and pick up both Mecho Wars and Uniwars?

i have never played doodle jump, probly never will so i cant tell you if it is minutes hours or days of fun.

though i enjoy harbor master, flight control so games that dont change much/are repetative can be fun.

if you enjoy TBS games though, you might get a lot out of both, and the updates coming will be good too.

Watched some gameplay on Mecho Wars, looks just like the kind of gameplay I'm looking for. For .99 I can't pass this up!

Uniwar on the other hand...I don't know why but It just doesn't seem as much fun to me. Maybe It's because after seeing vids of both apps in action, I tend to like Mecho's graphics a lot more.

About to Mecho Wars on my touch, search for it, open it and it comes up with just it's name and the option to buy for .99. Nothing else...When I try to scroll down it just like flickers...maybe it's a sign I shouldn't buy it? lol...

Does anyone think it would be okay to buy it even though like nothing loads but the icon and price and name? I would hate for it to be changing in price or something and charge me 5 bucks..

    (im on my touch btw)

no clue, but the Oyaji Games guy just tweeted:

OyajiGamesMecho Wars Online has 4 different modes ;)

so maybe they are messing with it, who knows.

ahh ok, did they say if the price is shooting back up? It says .99 and gives me an option to buy, but I would hate for it to not be refreshed yet or something and be back to 5 bucks.
