if you need an extra hand either for beta, feedback or anything feel free to contact me ... i'll be delighted to help. I know how tough is to solo stuff.
Just thought I'd update everyone on the progress of the game. I have all the weapons in right now and working good, all the enemies nearly finished that I'll have in the game to start with (more will be added in updates). I'm currently working on getting power ups and a score (with different multipliers) in, then adding in some different arenas to battle in, then touching up the animations, adding in all the textures, sound fx, music, menus and other polish, then after all that is done we should be ready for the beta.
Ok I'm looking to add another alpha tester just to get a fresh look at how the game is coming along before the beta, if you are interested, send me a pm, with: 1. What device you'll be using to test and what software version its running (if your on the latest one just say latest one). 2. Your devices UDID (plug your device into your computer and in iTunes click on the devices serial number, you will get a 40 digit number, thats your UDID) 3. How much commitment you would have to alpha testing (Just because I've had some testers that haven't really responded so I wanna be sure that you'll participate a little) 4. Previous testing experience (this will not say whether you get in or not, so if you have none don't worry). Thanks for your interest
Haven't updated this thread in a long time, but I just finished testing a screen recording program, and made a small gameplay vid of the alpha so far. I added it to the first post. Heres the video
Hey guys, not into beta yet, but a few spots opened up for the late alpha (which is the current state of the game). Mainly I have all the bug testers I need, what I'm mainly looking for is some pretty creative people to help with ideas and such, (kinda hard being a one man team as I don't have anybody to throw around ideas with, only myself which doesn't work great). Anybody that helps will get a promo code and definitely mentioned in the game. So if your really creative, and have time to give a good amount of feedback, I'd love your help! If your interested send me a pm with: 1. Email (I will need you guys to sign up to testflight as thats what I use). 2. Device (type and software version) 3. UDID (you can get this by going to itunes and clicking on the serial number of your ipod/iphone). 4. Any previous experience with beta/alpha testing, or other game related things.
I wanna do my best to support 2nd Gen devices so I'm looking for one or two testers who have them and who'd be willing to work with me to make it work as best as possible on it. If anyones interested pm me with the info from my last post. Thanks.
Ok guys heres the new gameplay video showing the store and upgrade weapons. EDIT: The embed doesn't seem to be working so heres the link Infinity Cubed Alpha V2 Gameplay
Ok the game is nearing completion and I hope to start the beta soon. Right now I'm in the midst of finishing up the local leaderboards and adding gamecenter leaderboards and I was wondering, do you guys want leaderboards for both highest score and highest wave? Or just highest score? Thanks.
You've definitely improved the graphics, but the whole graphical side wasn't what I liked anyway. About the joysticks. For god sakes, PLEASE fix them. It's impossible to play this game. I'm sorry if this is gonna hurt your feelings(I have no intention on making that happen), but can't you make a normal joystick where both of them are on different sides and actually normally sized and not tiny as an ant? They MUST be placed better, one on left side and one on right side, not one on left and one on middle. And they definitely MUST be bigger. Still finding hard to open settings because the menus are so small.
No no, thanks for pointing that out about the joysticks, what device are you on, as I haven't seen any of that happen. I'll work on the joystick thing and menu thing, and upload a new build today. EDIT: Oh now I feel stupid, your running 4th Gen right? I have a script that automatically sizes the GUI for the different devices by checking what device your currently on, the problem is, is that I was accidentally only checking for iPhone 4 not iPod Touch 4th Gen. Its all fixed and I'll upload a new build today, sorry about that.
Infinity^3 will be in beta phase starting either tomorrow or the next day, so I'm looking for a group of testers with a wide range of devices to help test it. For those that don't know Infinity^3 is a dual-stick survival arena shooter set in 3rd person. The aim for Infinity^3 is quick fun action that is easy to get into but hard to survive, resulting in short fast-paced gaming sessions. It combines melee and ranged combat for a unique dual-stick experience. All weapons are upgradable and the three melee weapons when fully upgraded allow you to charge up special attacks which you can then release for major damage. It will include both local leaderboards and GameCenter leaderboards (GameCenter will be added part way through the beta). I'm mainly looking for people with the following devices: 3rd Gen iPod Touch, iPhone 3GS Original iPad And all devices above those, sadly 2nd generation devices will not be supported. The game will be tested through TestFlight So if your interested please PM with: Device: UDID: Email Address(to add you to TestFlight): Thanks.
Do ou still need my UDID even if I already have a test flight account? Anyways PM sent, I can give UDID later as I don't have access to iTunes right now
Infinity^3 has just been submitted to the App Store! Will post pictures tomorrow and a gameplay video sometime in the next couple of days. Thanks to all the testers who helped make Infinity^3 what it is today! Oh and can anyone tell me who to contact to get the title of this topic changed to reflect the submission? Thanks.
