With iOS 4.3 just released, we have seen the last useful update to iOS 4. Apple has never updated any version of iOS beyond x.3 except for bug fixes, so the next major revision must be iOS 5. What do you want or expect in iOS 5?
More customizable features like the slider bar and battery. And customizing the home screen of how you want it to look and what goes where.
-Global gestures for music controls (maybe something like swipe with three fingers, etc) -Custom palette/colors for springboard...but that would never happen -Some kind of addition to the Appstore app which lets you manage/see IAP you've made
I've been using iPhone since it first came out (2007), and quite frankly, I'd like to see some BIG changes/improvements with iOS 5. Now, I could make a whole list of things I want, but I'm not going to do that. I'll wait and see. Although, I won't be switching to any other phone anyway. Apple's design, software and the way they bring their stuff is just pure win. Can't resist it.
Like I've said before I just want less grey and more colour! Nothing else I really need, but I'm suretheyll come up with something novel that will excite me! Just like voice control! Ha
I dunno, I want battery % on my ipod touch 4th gen without having to JB. That would be nice. Wouldn't mind widgets either, but I doubt that's ever going to happen or anything.
Don't expect a major UI overhaul. Apple have reached a peak with their iOS users, and they don't want to unfamilarize them.
There is a reason why Apple did not include a %. There is really nothing I want, because jailbreaking gives it to me
Themes. Give us awesome themes in the app store. Let devs make independent themes and sell them for whatever price, then apple can make themes for movies, artists, etc. for 5 bucks. Thing like a customizable slider, different icons for default apps, borders for all other apps, etc. Anyone else agree?
Lol funny how what everyone requested can be gotten through Cydia. Apple will never bring theming to iOS. Improved notifications, probably.
HThe UDK will never happen on older devices, they lag the RAM, processing power, and OpenGLES 2.0 technology that must be built into the hardware.
not having to double tap the home button to bring up the multitasking tray i jailbreak solely for Activator
- Brightness setting added to the multitasking bar - Improved notification system - Custom text alert sounds - A list of all purchased apps tied to your account in the app store - Folder limit increased from 12 apps to 16 (or more) - The ability to copy media to your iDevice through home sharing - Book sharing with iBooks using home sharing iOS 6: - 2x2 and 1x4 gridspace springboard widgets - Tap iDevices together to share data between them - Additional unlock methods beyond a 4 digit passcode - Home sharing over 3G/4G - A more functional redesign of the lock screen
