    if anyone upgraded to 4.0 and wants to go back to 3.1.3 or lower put your iphone/ipod into DFU mode and restore in iTunes. Your going to get a 1015 error, leave the box open and don't close iTunes.

    Open Blackra1n and "make it rain" If you don't see geohot's face reboot the phone yourself and you'll be back to a stock unjailbroken 3.1.3 device.

    I'm getting a 3rd Gen touch on Thursday (hopefully). I'm going to put a 4.0 BETA on there as I've got several BETA apps, so I'm already registered. :)

    Multitasking is the only thing I'm looking forward to, and folders. Folders are said to hav errors. Black spaces appear randomly. I'll see about this on Thursday. :D

    Get it from Amazon, free shipping, no tax and it's only $267 now! Getting cheaper.

    Any registered developer has access to 4.0... I am running 4.0 on my 3g, multi tasking does not work and the background image doesn't work at all. Its known though that the only the 3gs, 3rd gen touch and future hardware will take advantage of all the features of 4.0 as states in some news articles around the web.

    Are you having any issues with syncing with itunes, I heard there were issues with folders because apple hasn't released the next itunes beta, and is the developer that got you 4.0 going to be able to get you the itunes beta as well when it is available?

    iTunes will not create a backup with 4.0 and any apps you have put in folders will be tossed out. You'll have to make new folders when your done syncing.

    Yeah I heard that was happening due to the current version of itunes and that the next itunes beta would be coming out soon, will the dev that puts you in a beta spot be able to get you the updated itunes?

    Of course, any files that are released to the dev's will be passed on to the beta testers.

    thought that installing 4.0 beta upgrades your firmware so you can't revert back to 3? I noticed several posts in this thread saying you CAN revert. Has anyone done this successfully?

    @loves2spoon - awesome folder idea
