Tried to search for a poll on this, but the one I found was iphone/ipod split.

    2g Touch here

I wish apple would release a revised version of it that included the camera and vibration, and was just as thick as the iphone by beefing up the battery size.

Looking at the current skew towards ipod 2G, I'm thinking that the real figure would be quite different on other forums..

When I held the 2G iPod, it felt a little bit too delicate for my taste. The 3G on the other hand felt better in my hands and for those people who have man hands, I think a thicker iPod would be a little better ;)

iPhone 2G here. It's so slow.

I don't really care if it vibrates, I'd actually rather it didn't. The camera is a nice idea and they definitely need to upgrade the battery size. The thickness is fine for me personally because after putting it in a case, it's as thick as I want it to be. (Speck PixelSkin case)

Sigh...I'm trying to justify an iPhone to the wife so I can use my Touch for music and the iPhone for Apps.

what hardware upgrades will the next-gen ipod/iphone have. I have a 2g touch and I'm thinking it'll feel obsolete around September...

I have a iPhone 2G (original) and I find it especially comfortable for iPhone gaming as it is a bit thicker and easier to hold, although I do wish it had some of the features that the 3G has, i.e - GPS.

iPod touch 2nd gen here. IMO, best device in the poll. The iPhone sucks as a phone, but the iDevice rocks as a device.
