Yesterday, I searched for a game on my ipod touch and didnt see it. I said hmmm thats strange, I sync the thing with Itunes daily. So I put in the USB connector and noticed it wasnt syncing to Itunes. I checked to see if my computer was acknowledging it and it was.

I searched for possible solutions, I tried restoring my ipod which might have been a bad idea because this seems like an itunes problem to begin with. Anyways, it never restored. I got a status bar thing but it never moved, just sat their frozen.

Now when I try to start thing up it shows a picture of USB has an arrow pointing to ITUNES (LOL) I downloaded an old copy of Itunes and hit the setup.exe file and didnt see any pop up windows to install it. And I'm like hmmmm...why isnt it installing? Then just for kicks I tried to plug the USB connector in my IPOD and the thing is able to restore and sync now as if nothing happened. I was so mad now happy but annoyed I spent all day trying to fix this.

Anything like this happen to you?

I just tried to sync my iPhone 3GS (well, I guess it was about three hours ago; still can't find a fix) when it started saying that I have 19.48 GB of "Other", whatever that means. So, I can't see what it is or delete it, and it wasn't there before, but now I don't have enough room for any music (32g iPhone). Basically all the sync did was delete all my music and replace it with...something :(
Has this ever happened to anyone else? How can I fix it?
I'm on a PC with iTunes 9.0(I think), and this has never happened before.
