I will wait until the 5th gen before I consider upgrading - I just got a 32gb 3g less than 6 months ago.
Just bought an iphone 3gs for only 280 off ebay...looks like I won't be in the hunt for the new ipod touch coming in september ....Now i have to wait for the phone to be delivered!
yeah, but the iphone is still new reality speaking.. i figure from now to next sept.. we will have lots of games that need the hardware.. maybe im wrong. however, i do know there is a big enough performance difference between the gen 2 ipod and gen 3.. my brother has a gen 3 and its much faster than mine. which is enough reason to update come sept. chris.
The iphone 4 is blazing fast compared to the 2nd gen. Really. My dad has one and it is just so freakin fast.
