Hey all, Was hoping someone can assist me with a ridiculous itunes unfriendly problem. I just recently had to reformat my computer due to a virus and consequently lost itunes. I lost music that I didnt back up on my external hard drive and all my downloaded apps from app store. thankfully its on my ipod touch still. Now I connected my ipod touch to the now blank itunes in hope that it will recognise that they were downloaded by me and sync it accordingly onto itunes. It didnt and asked if I wanted to delete the data on the itouch. NOOO!!!!! So wish there was a "WTF" button!!! How do i get all my ipod touch data onto Itunes now? Can anyone help me to sort this out?
Just buy one free app from the app store and then your account will 'authorize' that computer and then it should ask to transfer purchases to your itunes account on your computer when you try to synch it.
Ipod Touch Loss Of Data Plz Help Hi Bit of a Noob so plz be kind lol Got a Ipod Touch 2nd Gen 16gb.. Plugged into itunes yesterday and it came up saying a update was a available (think is was 3.2.1) not 100% sure memory is crap... I choose to install the update, i told it to back up the ipod and then download and install... once install was done it restarted the ipod and OMG where the f*ck is all my music, pictures, vidz and apps.... (i nearly sh*t me self when i saw it was empty) then i remembered my back up, so i used i tunes to restore to my back up, i found the relevent back up and clicked restore as descirbed on apple website... it completed, restared again and quess what, still f*ck all on my ipod... Not happy... anyone no what i doing wrong or how to get my stuff back, apps and music on there cost me money and now they gone..... Help a noob plz....
