i know there is some announcements coming soon. I have the original mini, and as much as I love it, it is closing in on obsolescence, IMO. Plus, this time I want at least 64gb of storage..... 16 is killing me. I think I want another mini.
I'm seeing mixed reports as far as the Air 3 coming out with the new iPads. The mini 4 and the new largest "Pro" iPad are pretty much happening.
I think it is safe to say there WILL be a new iPad as there is each year but the rumours are that it will be pushed back until 2016 to allow for the larger model. They usually announce during September so we will know soon enough. I will miss this time as I got the air 2 128gb so I won't be upgrading for a couple of years.
Same here and love the convience of having plenty of games to choose from. So glad I went with the biggest. But still....I'll be taking a curious look at the latest when it arrives.
I'm happy enough with 64GB, but then I regularly delete games I no longer play/completed. I'd wait for the September announcement and see what comes up. New iPad Air? Good opportunity to upgrade if you don't have one yet. I am on an Air1, and guesstimate that I won't *have* to upgrade for at least another year or two. The big 12" iPad? From past track record I'd wait for some indepth reviews. Most likely they won't get it right the first time (like with iPad 1 & 3), and skipping the first generation is a good plan. Other than that: 12" screen? Drool
Yeah, me too. I'll never settle for less space again! But I'm getting tired of Apple these days not trying very hard to get a big jump ahead like they used to! Instead, they seem happy to just take baby steps each time, tiny increments of improvement-- most of which don't do much to turn me on and make me have that NEED to upgrade like I used to have. Wish they'd get ON that, and show some real innovation, lest they open up big opportunities for other hungry companies to blow them outta the water and take the lead, which I'm okay with, simply because I don't care who makes it----I'm gonna always get the best shit regardless of who that is! It's what I do!!!
I doubt there will be a iPad air 3 this year. There will most likely according to rumors be a iPad Pro (very expensive, in the range of a macbook) and a iPad Mini 4. iPad Air 2 is a beast
