That's because you have no friends IRL.

Is there any workaround how to make local wifi, global, to connect with other ip's that are not in the local wifi ?

I don't understand why they didn't implement multiplayer (so far), i hope they update it. It gives a lot replay value. Some more tracks and multiplayer with leaderboard and whooaaa. DLC also an option for me, but since i payed the full price i would definetaley prefer a free update

I have to apologize to EA for my recent criticism of NFS: Shift. The basis was the lack of an option for manual acceleration. After much gameplay, I can now see why they may have chosen to leave it out. The control scheme works pretty well, actually. Being that it's called Shift, the focus is placed on an authentic true to life driving experience, with manual shifting and braking. At this point, I could actually do without the addition of an on screen gas pedal. I'll say this, Real Racing has definitely met it's match. For the most part, the two are neck and neck, with graphics and gameplay. What gives NFS: Shift the edge is the amount of content and gameplay incentives, such as vehicle upgrades, buying, trading and driver stats, which make it more exciting. Not to mention the array of licensed vehicles. It has just a little more intensity. However, these both definitely stand apart as the two premier racers, in the app store. Now with all that being said, I still think that GT Racing Academy may out do them both. The video footage of the unfinished product looks pretty intense, with months left to improve before release. That's just my opinion, but we'll have to wait and see.

But even if I had friends, (lol, jk) I can't actually play against them in online races.

    Doing nothing of importance.

Well I bought Shift last night and I'm glad I did. Once I start I can't put it down. There's a perfect blend of arcade and simulation. And awesome graphics.
