I was thinking of setting up shop at Barnes & Noble for their Wifi hotspot to download some games on my iPhone (our internet is out of service for a week or so). About how fast is their Wifi at Barnes & Noble/Starbucks?
It's pretty decent, but downloading apps on it won't be a picnic. Say about a minute or two per app, compared to the 20-30 seconds on a faster, private network.
I use the wifi at barnes and noble fairly often. its not quite as fast as the wifi at my house, but its still pretty good.
My private network at home had a max download speed of 67 kb a second. Compared to that, how is the speed at Barnes & Noble?
hmm....I get about 100 kb a sec at my house and i think barnes and noble is just a little under that. It might also depend what Barnes and noble your at. if its in big city it might be slower than a smaller city
according to speedtest my interent download speed is is about 1 megibit per sec, but when i download something it only reaches around 100 kbs. why is that? i always thought it had to do with the server.
I think that It had been uninterrupted file which You have wanted downgrade. But I like your Internet speed. I thought that You have used best device for it. I have also tried to got new device for my Internet connection.
