Gotta start somewhere... Well, with stock trading there is a certain degree of skill and some degrees of luck. I tend to stick to stocks for companies I know very well, so I can (hopefully) predict more accurately what they will do. But generally good advice to start trading is to watch some of the financial TV shows that talk about the market and the "movers and shakers" and read some blogs and then just... jump right in. Jak56, if you "played" a game like this for years, by the time you're older and have some money you might have enough skill and interest do trading for a living. It's gotta start somewhere. Anyway, look forward to seein' you guys tryin' to hit top 10! I mean... I really encourage people NOT to try for bottom 20, but hey I know it happens even in the real world (unfortunately). Cheers!

no i dont think so.. for being fair contest.. if you completely lose your money, it's your fault for not being careful lol. i would buy shares of stocks from multiple companies for safety lol.... and i already have a little plan... the problem is im not sure if my plan will work lol
We added a "reset" feature in settings a few months ago, however using it will remove your account from the ranked list for that month and will not be eligible to participate in the contest. We try to be fair
Invite your friends...? Don't forget, you can invite your friends to play iTrade with you, and create a in-game club so you can see how well they are doing compared to you. This will increase your chance of winning, because hey... if you told your friends to play and they won, you could bug them to share their winnings. I guess its possible but then you just forfeit your prize, what's the point in that? The cafe press merch. is pretty cool, I have given a few of the items away and people do not seem to mind them
Heh, its harder than you think. Loosing a lot is almost as hard as winning a lot. Loosing little to moderate seems to be the easiest tho
