actually no, I remember they talked about that. Some young kid did a project on it. I believe it's Ice at restraunts that are 6 times dirtier. (I can't spell restraunts...)

    Sorry for triple post.

My friend, he bought apple headphones with the clicky button and used them for a few days and he found this store that sold normal Apple headphones for 5$. So he went to apple and returned his Apple Headphones with the clicky button by saying one was louder than the other. Apple worker tested it and said it was okay and sent him to the refund area or something. Then the next Apple woker tested it and said it was fine but they still returned it. My friend did say it was busy at the time.

    Will this work for me?
I can't return it because the receipt refund date is expired, but could I get a replacement?

(Don't just reply to me and say just buy new ones you cheap bastard, cause that is dumb... 1. I can't afford it I'm a minor, 2. They are charging 40$ for those... which is heck expensive.)

I'd say at least try it. You will never know if it's going to work unless you try it yourself. Just sound very convincing and they'll probably return it for you.

Ok. Since your cheap here's what you do:

Break the earphones with a hammer then tell apple a car ran over them when it fell out of your ears. Basically lie. If your honest and don't want to tell a lie cause your cheap, clean it with some god damn disinfectent.

Apple replaced my blutooth when my GF's dog got a hold of it & completly destroyed it. I didn't think they would even consider it but it gave them a call told them the TRUTH & they told me to come out. It was my fault & they knew that but I was honest & I spend money in that store monthly.

They took it in back....came back out & told me to grab a new blutooth box of the shelf.

Never in my wildest dreams did I figure they would replace it, especially with no restocking fee.

Since you can't afford new ones, & your squeemish about the toilet buds, just tell the TRUTH & see what they can do for you.

You win some you loose some. But lying to get free things is just wrong & chances are it won't work because it is wrong.

Next time buy from walmart...you can take anything back there with no reason or fees. I buy a new touch every 15 days (if I need an extra device) because of that exploit. But it's permitted within their policies.
