What is a keytar? A keytar is a relatively lightweight keyboard (with or without a built-in synthesizer) that is supported by a strap around the neck and shoulders, similar to the way a guitar is supported by a guitar strap. Keytars allow players a greater range of movement compared to conventional keyboards, which are placed on stands. The instrument has a musical keyboard for triggering musical notes and sounds. Controls for pitch bends, vibrato, portamento, and sustain are placed on the instrument’s “neck". The term "keytar" is a portmanteau of the words "keyboard" and "guitar." Keytars may either contain their own synthesis engines, or simply be controllers, triggering notes on another MIDI capable synthesizer. How to play? Hey thanks for promo codes! I grabbed the first one. This app is pretty nice looking and sounding! I was concerned that the keys would be too small to play very accurately but suprizingly it picked up almost the the notes I wanted it to! The black keys are a bit less accurate but if you play them up a bit higher instead of right towards the bottom of the key it moastly plays the key your aiming for. I think this app is decently priced and a fun app to show off on iPad but not something I would use playing live music in a band or that type of thing. It's a bit more of a fun music app than a pro audio app. Alltogether a cool app and not a waste of $2 for anyone interested that missed out on promo codes
thanks for your concerns, actually we're planning to expand the size of keys, and also add some new features. we'll keep updating this app. MEET Studio
