Cannot wait for this game. But, please don't tell me we'll have to buy the iPad and iPhone versions separately AND pay $3-5 for each hero in each version. edit: Based on the fact that there are 2 topics, I'll assume this will not be universal. I just hope hero pricing is more reasonable then.
Given that they said that they haven't even decided the price of the game itself, I doubt the IAP prices are set in stone.
Is the game universal? Or separate iPhone/iPad? Because then the heroes prices really stings, since have to buy them twice.

Man he looks so awesome! Did you guys catch the hammer guy / hero on the end? Looks like probably an NPC hero that's just for that level? His units look really cool though Gahhhh I can't wait!! ---- Ah no worries I understand! Thanks for the input though. I'm guessing you beat the game already huh? Jealous!
Well it's still a cool addition with two heroes in one level. Btw, does anyone know why all the basic towers look different (and cooler imo) in the newest trailer? I saw in the old trailer all the towers on their basic levels looked like KH1 style. So... what's going on?
Instead of heroes being in-app they should be bought with diamonds but make it really expensive so players would have to grind but if they don't want to they can buy diamonds to get that one
Totally the best experience in Kingdom Rush ever!! I really see the tweaks and the overhauls. I am not too far in yet, so more in depth comments later, but so far it's really awesome! Thanks Ironhide for letting me try it out! I haven't played much else since you sent it to me!!
The real question is will this be able to get me away from warhammer quest lol. Really looking forward to the sequel, loved the first kingdom rush, in fact it's still on my phone since day one of the iPhone release.
To all beta testers, did you get all the heroes for free? Does your copy expire and you have to buy everything for real later down the road?
So apparently KR frontiers takes place within the same world as the original. Ign has a gameplay video up, and they briefly go to the world map a few times. If you look closely, there are some common landmarks. The crystal sea is there, as is the rift of cinders. Thing is, these are at the top of the frontiers map, and at the bottom of the original game map. So the new game takes place in the land directly south of the old levels.
Great surprise! In a good way. I totally had the idea that the old tower designs were sticking, not that I hated them. But the new ones are beautiful. I guess you could say I'm even more excited..!
They have all the heroes but only after completing stage 10. Why? Because the extra heroes are not needed to finish and to enjoy the game, we decided to unlock all the heroes for the beta testers so they can test it all. And we plan to keep updating the game or them so they will have all the content forever probably.
