Kingdom Rush Frontiers (Ironhide Game Studio) Coming June 6!

I would've thought making an update to KR1 would have meant that Frontiers would come out a bit later. Fingers crossed i'm wrong though!

 

I'm sorry if this has been answered before. But will the release of Frontiers be universal, or will it come out first for iPad like the first one did?

 

The first one didnt come out on iPad. It came out on Armorgames.com. They used flash.

 

I mean when it first came out to iOS. It was first released as an iPad only game before it was available on iPhone

Btw, does anyone know if the art/sprites will be the same style as the original? All the new art seems to be similar to the comic book version or something more "adult" looking.

The game art style will remain the same. Only the teaser art is done by the same artist of the comic

 

I think that's quite good. Loved the art style in the first one. They all look so cute on the iPhone haha

Awesome! I think the original art style is what drew me to the game in the very beginning.

A random question but any plans on adding heroes that aren't medieval / mystical types? I would love Eastern characters like Samurai's or Ninjas or something to mix it up. They'd be cool guest characters!

 

Or a giant Panda bear with a bamboo sword! Yeah!

Lol I wouldn't mind that either Kenny. What I love about KR is that it doesn't take itself too seriously so they can throw whatever they want into it. Hell even the unit quotes are enough reason to try out the game!
