Glad I am not the only one. It is disappointing because when I first started 100 was good. 200 soon became a great game. It was nice that as my skill improved so did my scores. Now once I hit 300 it seems like pure luck. I managed to get 337 once, but it was really just a matter of frantically sprinting around looking for the exit and getting lucky a few times while collecting things along the way. I also wonder how people are pulling like 1000...seems almost impossible...
My high is 403. When I get levels with more than one cloud spider, I get out as fast as possible. Often, the next one won't have them.
I hit that wall for a while too. But something just clicked and I'm now frequently hitting 400+, with my highest score currently 446. The trick is taking your time. Don't over-swipe when the spiders are raining hellfire down. Small, controlled movements are the way to go. Also...wherever possible, leave no enemy unkilled. In early levels lure all enemies into cactus turtles. In later levels, let the spiders take care of them. And only pick up the hot sauce once you've done a full recon of the level, to make sure you don't miss anyone.
^yes to this. Also, try getting good at surviving spiders. In later levels they actually help you by killing all the other enemies. Easier said than done but it really brings home the bacon.
A Real Adventure Achievement + One Other Question Hello, all! frisbee10461 here! I am loving Land Sliders. I have all 56 of the main characters and two gold ones. I love how each character has its own idiosyncrasies. I have a question about one of the GameCenter achievements. In this one, you have to live a real life adventure. How do we get this achievement? Do we send the devleopers an email about our real-life achievements? Also, are there any hidden GameCenter achievements Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, frisbee10461
I believe this one is achieved by standing on the "sundial" that occasionally appears and then when the keypad appears, entering the correct 10 digit code. The code was figured out here in this forum based on images that were found on USB thumb drives in the real world. You can look back at earlier posts to get the correct sequence to enter on the keypad.
So is there no way for the devs to see who is cheating the leader boards? 600 ish believe, but anything more is probably fake.

Suggestions Hello, all! frisbee10461 here! Thanks to the quick responses, I have unlocked all achievements. Thank you all. I plan to work on three remaining goals. 1. Five-starring all of my characters. Currently, I have three gold characters only. 2. Acquiring more gold characters. 3. Topping my high score [currently, it is 298]. I also have some suggestions for what to do and what NOT to do for the next update. 1. Do NOT Prestige characters. To me, this is such a huge turnoff. I work hard to five-star my characters, and do not want to have to redo my work just to get some silly reward. In fact, for me, any games that use the Prestige mode are ones I delete instantly. 2. DO add Thanksgiving characters. Here are five suggestions: a. Pilgrim [object = turkeys] b. Charlie Brown [object = footballs] c. Native American [object = maize] d. Pumpkin Pie [object = ice cream] e. Television [object = floats] 3. DO add worlds. One big pet peeve of mine with games such as Crossy Road is that the game itself has not changed; only the addition of more characters. So, why not have additional worlds? As an example, consider adding a Moon-based world. Location-based worlds, such as New York City, or any of the coordinate-based cities? 4. DO add the ability to replay worlds or three-star worlds? The current world framework for this game is almost like choosing a random character. However, there should be the ability to replay worlds to "level" as well as to replay them to go from one-star to three-star for the worlds. This will enhance replayability of the game. 5. DO give the ability to kill the spider. EVERY other creature can be killed. As an example, when you drink the hot sauce, you can turn into a giant can of bug spray. Keep up the great work, devs! Thanks for making this a great game, frisbee10461
That Japan one is in Shinjuku, looks like. I was up there this weekend but had no idea. It'll probably be a few weeks before I can get back there too.... e: unrelated, but I gotta disagree with the prestiege hate. There are few games I play enough to reach a 'prestiege,' but always having something to work for in a smaller, otherwise easily droppable game is a plus to me.
Leaderboard cheaters Yes, devs can see this and can delete the cheaters, but they usually are too busy/don't seem to care about this to do so.
Who takes the time to fake a high score? Man, get a life. In other news, have we given up on the real world game? Game Connect Asia Pacific starts today, so maybe we'll get another clue. I'm still stumped on the meaning of "Water Slide" "Cat Enthusiast Character". Stumped!
Wasn't able to find anything regarding the clues during day one. Luke is going back on stage during day two (1hr from the time this was posted). Will keep an eye out and post if I find anything. Anyone here actually attending the event?
I believe I read on Twitter that he has a sitdown session still...not 100% though. Haven't seen anything related to our puzzle though
Another Suggestion Hello, all! frisbee10461 here! As I was playing, what I thought would be neat would be a counter that shows you how many of an object you need to complete the level. So, for example, if you need 25 planet Earths [if you are the black hole character], the number 25 would appear in the lower-right corner of the screen. Each time you swallow a planet Earth, the counter would decrease by 1. This way, you can always know how many objects remain for a level. Thanks, frisbee10461
This sounds likely to be our next step. Any idea where or when he will post slides? Possible here: http://www.slideshare.net/LukeMuscat
Maybe we should be concentrating on "slide 4" when that deck goes up, if we take "cat" to be an approximate pronunciation of "quatre".
