jak56 I got it, your feedback is very valid. I let my wife play it and she too thought it was a little hard. One thing that wasn't mentioned in the game tutorial is that you actually gain "lives" back when you reach certain scores and maybe one easy way is to increase the frequency of giving lives back. How's that? By the way, I'm curious, what's your highscore? Mine is 40 so far http://twitter.com/LeftRightStudio/status/5118110402
Yeah, I intended to add everyone tonight, everyone beta testing should have gotten an invite Thanks again for posting your solution to bypass the signer invalid error
@khangtoh Good fun so far but, as you may already know: 1) The highscoreboard appears broken after receiving 10 scores, later better scores aren't added in their appropriate spots. It appears once the game records ten scores it stops counting. Quick question, how should equivalent scores with different times be treated? Is 3 in 2 minutes better or worse than 3 bottles in 1 minute (I'd assume lesser time is better as it would mean you're a more efficient worker). 2) The ratio of tomatoes to trash is very random or, perhaps, if meant to ramp up over time, is not properly resetting when the player starts a new game. Thanks for including me in your beta!
What error did you get? @sinuyan posted a solution to another problem he had. Join the social group to post your feedback and bugs there but here's what @sinuyan posted just wondering, did anyone with a windows computer get it working?
@lordgek thanks for the feedback, there's a bug that doesn't count time against even score and we'll will be introducing a global online leaderboard in an update. As for (2) the ratio of trash vs tomatoes should increase as your score increases and perhaps it wasn't that noticabke and so it felt random. But thanks for pointing it out because that got me thinking and I have some ideas on improving that
What errors are you getting? Check out the social group for katchup testing, there are some posts that discussed errors with syncing. If you are on windows, use the .ipa file link instead of the zip file link.
Submitted to the Appstore! Thanks to all our beta testers for testing and helping us refine the game. We're now ready to submit KatchUp to the appstore and if all goes well we should see Katchup in the appstore 2 weeks from now!
ITS OUT!! We just realized that we did not change the release date, Apple approved it 2 weeks ago but we were preparing for an official release campaign. Today is probably one of the worst release day since all major studios were having a sale. Let's do this as a preview release, we will bring Katchup down any moment, so grab it while its still available!
