    From the 3 locked heroes, you can purchase 1 with Gold and 2 with Crystals.

    I play a whole lot of dota, looking to see if the genre would translate well into the iOS platform.

    Ahhh... I thought this was a RPG where you control 3 characters at first. So close...

    Anyways, I read through all the comments and checked out the preview and I'm definitely looking forward to this game. TD and strategy games have definitely made a comfy little home on iOS and this looks like a nice little refresh.

    It's also nice to hear that the game can be fully played without forcing IAP and bringing in real world problems. If this stands true by the games release I'll more than likely throw a few bucks into the IAP to show some support.

    If/when you guys make multiplayer (MP) can you PLEASE leave IAP out of any type of PVP. I guess, since the SP already has IAP, you'd have to make MP separate and everyone start over. I'm actually perfectly fine with this, but others may not be. If you make a Co-Op then it could easily be continuous from the SP campaign.

    At the end of the day, it's probably an easy decision when you think about your wallets, but a hard (possibly) decision as a dev who wants to make a pure, legit experience.

    I've pretty much come to dislike MP on iOS as it is, but I'm probably in the minority that feels this way. There are a couple of games that will probably be restoring my faith next year, but only time will tell.

    Whatever you do, good luck! I'll enjoy playing strictly SP and pay some real world money if there's no IAP hassle.

    Can we have a screenshot of the stats screens for each character to show the stats that we can effect through leveling up and through item acquirement? Id like to know what slots we can equip to our characters too.

    Also, like DotA and LoL etc. do we start from level 1 each new map? Also, is there quick play with some mutators and difficulty select? I'd also like to know whether we have to control 3 heroes, or let the AI control them for us.

    And finally; is there any plans for future heroes through an IAP?

    Hello,

    Please check attached image for your stats question. There are power-ups(itens) to increase attack, armor, health, movement, abilities cooldown time and teleport itens.

    "do we start from level 1 each new map?"
    No, heroes progress is kept between levels in campaign mode.
    When we include Multiplayer, it can work different(just for multiplayer) to be like DotA/LoL.
    We will evaluate this based on the initial feedback/success of 1.0.

    Quick Play:
    Yes, we have a quick play mode unlocked when you reach level 6 with one of your heroes. Difficult level is adjusted to the level of the team you take to the match and you only get gold. There is no XP gained in quick matches.

    3 heroes in the match:
    You can switch between them at any time.
    When you control one, the AI will take care of the other 2.

    Plans for future heroes:
    Definitely, we have already 2 new heroes in development.

    That is some awesome info. So I take it the stat upgrades are something like: Health, Melee, Armor, Speed, and Ranged?

    Thanks for the clarification about the 3 characters at once aspect. Sounds much cooler now.:D

    Thanks for such the speedy reply!

    I can see where you're coming from when the levels are kept through the campaign mode but i'd, personally, like to be able to play the 'quick game' mode from level 1 and start from level one each time. Would it be possible to add this as a toggle on/off feature in the menus? Obviously i have no experience with designing or making games so i don't know how difficult this would be.

    Earlier another couple of questions came to mind;

    1. Is LH going to be released at the front or backend of January?

    2. How big are the skill trees going to be and are they different for each hero?

    3. Do the heroes have different 'classes' or are they all the same except we control the addition of stat points when they level up?

    4. Is the AI any good? Can it defer goals to those of the humans? can we issue it orders by pinging the map? Does it just charge the objective and get killed or does it just chill in its lane?

    5. Are there any plans for the use of line of sight? Like DotA so you can pounce an enemy, or get pounced.

    6. Finally, will the multiplayer, in future, be local and wifi. Hopefully both with bluetooth local.

    They should go balls out for multiplayer and copy LoL's freemium model...its not exploitative and it actually makes me want to support the dev because of how fair it is.

    This looks really great so far! My main question is: how will it control? I think that's going to be super important for a game like this. And also, are you looking for beta testers?
