Shhhhh, Team Lumo are working on a new secret project, and we are looking for people to play a very early version of the game. If you fit the above criteria and would like to get a sneak peak at what we are working on, then we would love to hear from you!
Cats!!!! Ok I'd love to test it, I'm a huge cat lover, I even can play match 3 games at home with my three cats ^^
Cats That's great news! Thank you so much for getting in touch. BTW this is no match three game, it is somewhere between an RTS and Tower Defence, but with a very lovely cat I'll DM you with more details shortly.
You just play the game. Then we'll have a few questions for you, mostly just stuff about what you like and don't like.
Are they any good? I can't even get a cat to play a match 2 game! And in other news, sign me up please!
The problem is that I have two black cats and one orange... I need one more black to match the colours ^^
Thank you so much for volunteering. We are super excited to have you all on board! I will be in touch with you all directly with more info, and we hope to have a build of the game to share very soon.
Thanks, you are both in too. Candy Crush is not a must have, but this is a free to play game and a much more casual take on the strategy genre (although it is definitely not easy). Our feeling is that players who hate casual titles like CC may not enjoy our game either. I'm sure you can tell us for sure
Well to be honest I don't like Candy Crush either or F2P, but when it comes to cats, then I am much more forgive full, if the f2p allow me to pay to get rid of the add or unlock the whole game like a premium, then I am ok with it, but if it's a "share on your Facebook" full of timers then it's a no go
We will definitely have an option to share on Facebook and timers too. But we do tend to approach things very differently. We believe that everyone who plays our game is valuable and should have a great experience (regardless of wether they spend money or not). Our job is to create things that people want to share with their friends, and their friends will be interested in seeing. We also make it clear and optional (and do not incentivise people for sharing). This is why our play tests are so important, as they help us ensure we get the balance right. That said, we totally understand that the game won't appeal to everyone.
I'm not a very big fan of casual games either, but I feel for testing purposes you need a variety of gamers to make sure the game appeals to mass audiences without losing what makes it special.
That's an interesting one. We tend to focus on making special games for some players rather than a average games for everyone. That said, it is always good to get different perspectives. Our new game is particularly interesting as it is somewhere between a core game for casual players and a casual game for core players. It is very exciting, and I can't wait to hear what people think
