Linear! Is what happens when arcade meets puzzle. It is a challenging and minimal one touch game. The core gameplay is arcade. But all our levels are handcrafted puzzles. We crafted our levels in such a way that it gets difficult as the game progresses. But it never gets frustrating. When you complete the 100 levels, two unique Arcade mode unlocks. Linear! Have NO ADS! First 30 levels are absolutely free!

    Long Description:

Hello Everyone, we at Gameover Studio are developing ‘Linear!’ for two months now. It’s an arcade styled puzzle game. So this is our first attempt towards the journey into puzzle.
The core gameplay is very arcade like. It is a single tap game. But unlike traditional arcades, good reflexion and eye finger coordination is not good enough. At times intuitions work and you may be able to complete a level in a single tap. But more often, you have to try different options and learn from the mistakes to complete a level.

All our levels are handcrafted. Whenever we had an idea, we first drew it in sketchboard. Made a first draft in Unity3d and played it hundreds of time until we thought it is good enough for you. We put even more effort on level placements. We had three simple goals:

Players should be interested to the very end!
The game is divided into 10 Chapters. Chapter One, teaches you the basics of gameplay. After that the game gets progressively harder. But at no point it becomes frustrating. When we were done with 150 levels, we sat down and tried various combinations and beta tested on many users on Face to Face meetings. Finally we decided to go with 100 levels for the first release.

    Great User Experience:
We wanted you to have as much fun playing the game as much we enjoyed making it. So we didn't include any Advertisements inside the game. There are no external SDK’s inside the game for even cross promotion.

Maximum number of people should be able to enjoy the game:
We want as many of you to enjoy this game. And we know, paying upfront before even trying the game is a turnoff for many people. So the first 30 levels of the game is absolutely free.

P.S: First 30 levels of ‘Linear!’ is absolutely free. After that for $1.99 or equivalent you get access to 70 more levels and two unique Arcade modes.

    What’s Next?

We are right now working for our next release (At least 50 more levels should be added). Down the line, we want to bring level editor inside the game.

  2. Ooh. I like minimalism. But the music in the trailer really got me. Sounded like handpan with electronic twist. Works well with the game I suppose.

Hey Slothmachine, thanks for your feedback. We were very confused about the music as none of our team member's core competency is in music. But glad that you liked it. Cheers!
